I can’t believe Bob Loquercio would employ a General Manager like Mike Meah for over six years! They mustn’t care any more about customer service than he does. Mike is an arrogant, loud mouth ( talked over my wife on the phone and told her “ you listen to me” and then hung up on her when he was done ranting at her) . Mike has a history of speaking to women as that is way he has spoken to my niece who bought a car from Elgin Hyundai! Sad to say the car spun a main bearing after in burned all the oil after she only drove it 2000 miles. After a month she has had no restitution!!! We have a video recording of Mike Meah ranting at her. Telling her he “won’t do anything on her car until she took down the bad review she gave him”! Arrogance at its finest! Reviews are there FOR A REASON! I would never buy a car from any of their dealerships as there are many great car dealerships to work with in Naperville and North Aurora, and Tinley Park. More
Was a great car buying experience I worked with Katie in sales. She made sure I didn't feel taken advantage of and really went into detail to make sure I was well informed on the sales process. Typical sleezy car salesmen! !! I am only putting 1 star because they wont let me put 0 or even negative stars. I went to Elgin Huyundai to find a used car for my daughter ( wh !! I am only putting 1 star because they wont let me put 0 or even negative stars. I went to Elgin Huyundai to find a used car for my daughter ( who is 19 yrs. old and doesn't know anything about cars ), we found one and proceeded to make a deal.george campbell was our salesman, and the deal was for $10,000.00 give or take a couple hundred out the door, for a used 2012 Hyundai Tuscan with 95,000 miles on it! Because the car was just traded in, we left it with george for them to look it over and fix anything that might be a safety issue, which they did, and my daughter and I were going to come sign for it, and pick it up a few days later when they were done. Unfortunately, I could not make it that day, so my ex-wife and my daughter went to get the car instead (because I thought I had everything set up for the purchase). My daughter who is paying for college herself put $5,000 down and the rest of the $10,000.00 or so was to be financed. This was to be her college car (she's going to U of Wyoming, which is a 15 hour drive.... one way)! My daughter set up payment's of around $200.00 a month and it was done. Today, my daughter called me after actually looking at the contract, she realized that there were several other charges that are clearly B.S., and some were charges that I told george campbell that I didn't want, but somehow when my ex and my daughter (who once again, no nothing about cars) went to get the car, and unbeknownst to them, these other charges were on the contract. (why would anybody pay $15,000 for a 2012 Tuscan with 95,000 miles on it????? the deal was for approx. $10,000!!!) I called carlos the sales manager about this and of course I get the run around! (how do these people sleep at night!). So now I've tried to get hold of the general manager (mike), and I haven't received a call (go figure). How can these slimeballs take adevantage of a woman and a young girl!!! I have been in the auto industry for 35 years, but never car sales ( because I have a conscience), and I've worked with too many of them to know I couldn't decieve ANYONE like this. DO NOT BUY HERE!!!!!!! DO NOT Bring any business here!!! If the sales dept. is like this, I'm sure the service dept. is just as sleezy. Notice: Nobody named in this review that is affiliated with Elgin Hyundai has their name with a capital at the beginning because they don't even deserve that little respect! And this is not over by far!!! This review is just the beginning !!! More
It is no secret that I am not a fan of this company but I will give a good shout out to Andy in the service department. He told my son that he will help him get a new engine for his car that is only 3 years will give a good shout out to Andy in the service department. He told my son that he will help him get a new engine for his car that is only 3 years old and still under warranty and he did just that. He was very professional and patient with him and explained things to me when I asked. My son got his car back today and all is good. Thank you Andy you were very honest and helpful to my son and I am thankful. If u need to service you car there ask for Andy. More
I traded in a vehicle that was purchased from this dealership. I canceled a warranty and waited almost 60 days to check in to find out where my refund was. I spoke with Mr. Olsen and apparently, the refund was sent to the wrong entity, and a check would be "put in the mail" on March 14, 2023. On March 17th, I went to the dealership and spoke to Mr. Olsen and explained that I had not received the check & I was losing an opportunity to extend my first vacation in 15 years. He claimed that the check was coming from their corporate office and would take longer to get to me and was unwilling to cut me a check. Mr. Olsen called me on Monday, March 20 and confirmed the check was mailed on March 14th. Today, March 22 I received the check, dated March 14, 2023, hand stamped at the dealership (not a corporate office) and postmarked March 20, 2023. So, basically while I begged this guy to cut me a check, my check was sitting there waiting to be mailed out. Very disappointed. More
I have leased 2 cars now purchased my 3rd car and I can’t say enough about this dealership. I had Michael Meah and Jeremy Rosa helping me every step of the way, and I was able to Always reach them by text or say enough about this dealership. I have Never had any problems in my process from start to finish with getting my new Tucson, the service department also has been top notch, and they deserve a Shout Out for Well Done ! I know sometimes you go to these dealerships and you are treated like a Nobody, but this dealership and these people Do Not treat you that way! So, before you read the reviews and decide, I am telling you they are not slimy , crooked, bad people. I will be back, but only for service, as I love my new Tucson, Thank you Mike and Jeremy. I went to Elgin Hyundai because I was really into the new 2023 Hyundai Palisades. Mike Meah, the General Manager was awesome !!! Also, Mike Meah helped me get a GREAT deal!! Everyone there is so friendly and i cant wait to send friends and family and also cant wait to purchase again from them in the future. OH! And also i cant wait to see the new buildings !! Hyundai needs this they are AMAZING! More
