Spare Tire Assembly I was towed in to have my spare tire assembly replaced and new assembly order and installed. My initial experience with the service team was fine and I was towed in to have my spare tire assembly replaced and new assembly order and installed. My initial experience with the service team was fine and my experience with Syed in the parts dept. was "great." Parts were not in stock so Syed ordered my parts and I was suppose to get a call once the parts arrived to have the parts installed by service. I never received that call and I had to chase down myself the status of when service was going to have this job done. Three times not including the lengthy message I left for the service manager to return my call to have my parts installed that had been sitting in the parts dept. for over three weeks. More

Elder Ford is UNRESPONSIVE to customer service issues My recent oil change and tire rotation was, by far, the slowest turnaround I have ever experienced at Elder Ford or anywhere else, for that matter. M My recent oil change and tire rotation was, by far, the slowest turnaround I have ever experienced at Elder Ford or anywhere else, for that matter. Mr. Fuchs, my service writer, was very friendly and courteous and gets the sole star from my review. However, the service writer does not schedule or prioritize the mechanics' work. I made an appointment for a simple oil change and tire rotation and waited for over two and a half hours for the work to be completed. I arrived five minutes before my service appointment and waited 15 minutes for a service writer to start my paperwork. For a service appointment scheduled for 1:30 PM, I finally got my truck back at 4 PM. I was told that a dozen unscheduled vehicles showed up for oil changes which was why it took so long for my service to be completed. My problem with that is that my vehicle should have been given priority because of my scheduled appointment. Why should drive-up business pre-empt my scheduled appointment? In contrast, this morning I had an appointment at Quest Diagnostics for some lab work. When I showed up at the appointed time, half of the waiting room was already filled with walk-in customers. Because I had an appointment, they took me within two minutes of my sign-in. The nurse explained that walk-ins must wait for any scheduled appointments to be satisfied before they are helped. My, isn't that a novel concept?! Perhaps Elder Ford should review their service policy of last-in, first-out pre-emption of pre-scheduled service appointments. Before leaving this negative review, I sent an email to Elder Ford and left three voice messages on three different days to the Service Manager in an attempt to resolve my concerns. I still have not heard from him or anyone else from Elder Ford. Understand that I bought a $75,000, 2017 Ford F-250 Lariat from Elder Ford and have had every scheduled service performed by them. Apparently, that loyalty is rewarded with poor customer service and non-responsiveness to my repeated attempts to resolve this issue without the need for this negative review. The only voice I have left is to take my business elsewhere because they apparently don't care about retaining loyal customers and are unconcerned that I will be sharing my negative service experience with all my friends and family. It must be nice to be so successful that you can ignore your customer base. As for me, I am done with Elder Ford, both in sales and service. More
