Two Disappointing experiences with service department In July we brought in our Mustang for brake service which was done, but before we had driven 1 mile down the road, the brakes locked up. We drove the car back and then we were told that we needed additional work done on the car (which wasn't mentioned when itr was first brought in) but they would share a small portion of the cost of repair with us and since we needed the vehicle, we agreed. This took another day or more. Within the next day after picking up the car, we noticed the car always pulled to the right when brakes were applied. We once more took it back and left it to be corrected, stating that we would not pay any additional repair costs for the brakes. Late that day we were contacted and told that the right ball joint was bad and causing the problem and had to be replaced. The same ball joint that was operating successfully before any brake work had been done at all. When we went to pick up the car, we were told that we were now members of a VIP club and eligible for all kinds of perks. Primarily, we were introduced to a sales person who's sole purpose was to sell us a new car. Perfect timing.... Each time we bring one of our vehicles in, (which we have been doing for several years now) the condition of the car/engine, etc is reviewed and recommendations are made as to repair of same and how urgent the proposed repairs are. Less than two weeks later, the car suddenly would not start and when it did, it sounded like it was out of gas and would not continue to run. We got it to Elder's service and left it in the drop off area and the next day they charged us $100 to clear away some excess fuel around the tank and we assumed it was fixed....until a week or so later. The exact same thing happened and we had it towed to them and this time they told us they could find 'nothing wrong', according to their computer. We were forced to take the car as is and hope we made it home. When the same problem occurred again three days later, we took it to another garage since we now had little to no confidence in Elder's ability or desire to correct the problem, and their mechanic found the issue in literally minutes. The car was repaired same day and we have not had an issue since. It's unlikely that we will ever return to Elder Ford again. More

I purchased a new Explorer platinum with the 3.5 twin turbo Eco boost which is pretty quick however, if you are looking for something really fast go to Elder Ford. They have more Roush Mustangs than I have ever seen in one place other than a car show. More

From start to finish every employee that helped me was personab I never imagined I could have such a great customer service experience at a body shop. From start to finish every employee that helped me was personable, extremely professional, and cared about me as a customer. Jim Wetzel oversaw the extensive repairs to my Mustang after I was hit by a reckless driver. Jim was beyond courteous throughout the entire repair process. He constantly kept me updated regarding the repair status and answered every question that I had for him. My Pony came back as a good as new and I couldn't be anymore satisfied by the beautiful work that was done. Thank you for making what is usually an unpleasant experience into the opposite. I will never use any other body shop in Tampa and I will 100% recommend the Elder Ford Collision Center to all of my family and friends. ~Melissa More

Not happy..waste of my time Today was my 2nd dealing with this dealership pertaining to the same problem. I bought my car at a different dealership with the understanding warrant Today was my 2nd dealing with this dealership pertaining to the same problem. I bought my car at a different dealership with the understanding warranty work could be done any where. This dealership 2xs now has told me to go back to where I purchased the car..I called back to the dealership where I purchased car and they told me that was BS and is covered at any Ford since it was put in by Ford and warrantied by Ford...So another morning wasted. Think it is time to try another dealership. More

It started with an Internet sale request to Brandon Long, he call bombed & email bombed me repeatedly and never gave me a price so i went to his Boss, Victoria Horsak, "Internet Director" who didn't know the available rebates on 2016 Escapes, I had to tell her what the rebates were. Then she quoted me a very HIGH Price, with "Appearance Package" added, xxx?? So she had New Car Director Geoff Patterson call & berate me and tell me it wasn't possible to get that LOW of a PRICE Anywhere in Tampa. Guess what IDIOT I even beat the price I discussed with you. So I then went to the OWNER Rob Elder who at least returned my call, but he wouldn't deal with his people either, he referred me to his GSM Tarold Hopkins who I played voice mail tag with for almost 2 weeks and never actually spoke to the man. So I forgot all of that and gave them another chance online when I was contacted by Eddie Juica, Internet Department, still waiting for a price after 6 days, Sorry Eddie bought elsewhere at a very LOW PRICE!!!!! SUCKERS you missed out on this 800+ Credit Sale!!!!!!!!! More
