The service rep told me what had to be don and how long it would take. He got a loaner car for me so I wouldn’t have to sit a wait for five hours, then called me in three an said one of the lights was brok it would take. He got a loaner car for me so I wouldn’t have to sit a wait for five hours, then called me in three an said one of the lights was broken and they needed to keep it over night until they got the part in. The next morning he called me by 9am or so it was ready. The only thing I would say is that they need to check the parts for defects before people come in. More
I purchased a 2016 Hyundai Equus Signature that originally cost over $70,000. It now has about 93,000 miles. I took it to Edmond Hyundai where Robert Troop was the service manager. Then had my car originally cost over $70,000. It now has about 93,000 miles. I took it to Edmond Hyundai where Robert Troop was the service manager. Then had my car for 7 months trying to fix a battery drain problem. I was given excuse after excuse why the car was not being repaired. It became obvious these people couldn’t fix other people’s cars either. Robert blamed the mechanic who soon left. He blamed the service advisor who resigned. He blamed Hyundai Motor Company for giving them wrong repair information and he blamed the Hyundai Equus for being a car Hyundai did not design properly. I was told my car was ready and I went to pick it up after 6 months. I had gone to pick it up before but each time the car wouldn’t start and I had to leave it again and again. When I arrived the car was returned to me but the said the paper work for all that was done to it over the last 6 months was not ready. I had already paid a repair bill for over $1200 when they previously called and said it was ready and 4 hours after I had it the battery was dead again, exact same problem I had when I took it in. Now, without the paper work I was attempting to drive out of their dealership which was under complete reconstruction building Nd parking lot and I hit a hole in their road that had been filled in somewhat with gravel and my whole front end of my car collapsed onto the ground and the bumper and suspension were damaged. I parked the car on their lot and informed the service advisor and he told me they would fix it. Over a month later it still wasn’t fixed and when I contacted the service advisor he said he had resigned because of all the problems at this dealership. I was told the service manager Robert Troop would be taking care of everything. When I contacted Robert Troop I was disrespected, and treated very rudely. I was told they wouldn’t fix the car and that it wasn’t their problem, these cars are known problems, and to get it off their dealership lot where it had been fir repair for 7 months. I asked to speak to the general manager and he wasn’t available,I asked to speak to the owner and Robert Troop said the general manager and the owner were the same person and he would have him call me. I was called by Robert Troop a few hours later and told the owner sided with him. They would not do anything to repair the car and to get the car off their lot. I said I would not remove it until I received all the paperwork regarding everything they had done on the car. I called my Farmers insurance agent and reported what had happened to the car and asked them to get involved since the damage happened in their parking lot. Farmers called Robert Troop and we’re told very rudely they would not fix the car and to get it off their lot. Farmers informed me Robert Troop was very rude, uncooperative and insistent they were not going to fix the problem and to remove the car. So, Farmers had the car towed from the Edmond Hyundai Dealership to one of their repair locations where it is now being repaired. My experience with this Hyundai dealership was worse than horrible! My 2016 Hyundai Equus was renamed the Genesis 90 the next year by Hyundai to establish a new luxury brand apart from the other Hyundai models similar to what Toyota did when they created the Lexus. Edmond Hyundai/Genesis sells and services these cars. I would not recommend that anyone buy or have their car repaired by these people. I wouldn’t even buy any of the Hyundai/Genesis cars if this is the way Hyundai Motor Co. allows their dealers to operate. I could not be more upset, disappointed and shocked at the extremely poor way I was treated. I am sorry I ever chose the brand Hyundai and I am sorry I ever used Edmond Hyundai for service!
