Dear hayniewoman, The Dealership would like to apologize to you for any miscommunication or misunderstanding that may have occurred. Our dealership strives to make certain that every customer is treated courteously, respectfully, and has a wonderful experience. For this reason, we are disappointed that you were not 100% satisfied with your experience. As multiple contracts signed by yourself point out, in any sale where financing is arranged through the dealer, the sale is contingent upon funding by an accredited lending institution. Unfortunately (from reading your complaint), none of the lenders we spoke to were willing to fund the contracts signed by yourself. As a result, the contract became void by its own terms. It was for these reasons (the unwillingness of lenders to fund your contracts) that we, unfortunately, had you return the vehicle. Again, this was never our Dealership's intention. At all times we were hopeful that they could get the contracts purchased and you could continue to drive the vehicle you were attempting to purchase. Please know that is was not, nor is it ever, the our desire to have to have a customer return a vehicle that they are attempting to purchase. As for the handling of your attempted trade-in, we do not remove any items from a vehicle until the contract evidencing the customer's attempted purchase is fully funded. As discussed above, we were not able to get your contract funded. For this reason we would not have removed anything from your attempted trade-in. All of this said, should you desire our will send you a check for $100 should you like. In order to request this check, simply contact Phil Wartley at the Dealership to make arrangements for the check to be requested and sent. Sincerely, Emily Taylor MN Holding Co. I am the original poster of this review. Edmond Hyundai responded with even more lies (if one can believe this). Someone named Emily responded and said that after signing multiple contracts they were not able to get our loan financed. This is untrue. We only signed one extra set of paperwork due to financing. We were financed the second time. And just to be clear, we weren't financed the first time, because Hassan made promises that he shouldn't have made and wasn't able to keep. We were told to bring the car back because Edmond Hyundai was unwilling to follow through with the deal that they made. THEY didn't add in my trade in and were not going to pay it off, as was stated in my original review. Even though they signed for my trade-in and they were given power of attorney to get the title for it. Hassan and Eddie were told multiple times that my trade-in had a lien on it. Even when we went back to the dealership to trade cars, Hassan and Eddie got into a screaming match because of this. Eddie lost a sale because Hassan made a mistake. Emily states that the dealership doesn't take anything from a trade-in unless a contract is fully funded. Since my floor mats and radio were removed from my car, obviously the contract was funded. And if I wasn't able to get financed, and the dealership isn't in the habit of taking things from a trade-in unless the contract is funded, then why are they offering me $100? This is just another example of horrible service. Even the people who responds to these reviews can't be honest. I am shocked that anyone works for a place like this. Where are people's morals? And why is it that a dealership this large that wants to stay in business, can't just say "I'm sorry. We made a mistake. Let us make it right." AND THEN JUST DO IT?!? Instead they have someone (like the people who respond to these reviews) push the blame off on the injured party or they twist things that were said and done to make it look like the injured party did something to get one over on them? So, to add injury to insult, now my husband and I are liars, but hey, since we are lying, Edmond Hyundai will give us $100 if we just call up to the dealership and request it. That sounds just about right. Here is the response from Emily to my review: The Dealership would like to apologize to you for any miscommunication or misunderstanding that may have occurred. Our dealership strives to make certain that every customer is treated courteously, respectfully, and has a wonderful experience. For this reason, we are disappointed that you were not 100% satisfied with your experience. Dear Sir, Firstly, I would like to apologize to you for your frustrations while we were communicating about the vehicle of your preference. The chat option is there to handle general questions and information, but it can’t handle very specific questions which is why we have our sales professionals contact you back. Secondly, I want to apologize to you for the problems you had trying to get into touch with our representatives. We work hard to provide the best service to our customers, and it saddens me that you couldn’t get into contact with us. If you could please contact me 405-478-8777 or email me at pwartley@edmondhyundai.com, we can communicate properly. Thank you for your time and consideration on this issue.
