Typical bait-and-switch scheme. Pulled credit w/o permission I normally don't write negative reviews. I usually show my disapproval by not patronizing places. But the straw the broke the camel's back just showed I normally don't write negative reviews. I usually show my disapproval by not patronizing places. But the straw the broke the camel's back just showed up in my inbox a few minutes ago. We were told that our credit wouldn't be pulled until we came to an agreement on price. WRONG. It was pulled the first night we were there. The salesman had gathered our information on Dec 5th, but we never signed the form authorizing them to pull our credit. They did it anyway. When we went back on the 6th, it was some story about how "the paperwork was shredded by the manager", etc. and that he needed our signatures again (we never signed it the first time.) During the hustle and bustle of dealing with two guys, that slipped right past me. Only after I got home and was alerted that my credit had been pulled by my monitoring company did I realize that it was all an attempt at covering their butts. Pretty sure it's illegal to pull credit without authorization. And I can prove that they pulled it on the 5th, while they can only prove that we signed the authorization form on the 6th. Not only that, but it was pulled twice that night. Once by them, and once by some other entity. I guess this is called being "dealer-tracked". Wow. I'll be disputing this with the Credit Agencies and the BBB. This was willful on their part, not negligence. These guys deal with this stuff all the time. Credit doesn't get pulled by accident. Read on if you want the rest of our dealings with this stealership, but just know not to take them at their word. They smile at you while trying to bend you over. My wife and I were in the market for TWO vehicles. A brand new Santa Fe Sport for her, and a cheaper, used daily driver for me. Showed up Dec 5th just window shopping, found two that we liked, went home and talked it over. We agreed to go back up there (with both of our trade-in's) ready to make a deal the very next day. In the mean time, I found the vehicles on their own website and printed them out to verify VIN's in the case of "It's not the same car" routine. The Santa Fe magically got $4000 more expensive than their sale price due to miscellaneous "fees" and rebates that we "don't qualify for". They also offered me an absurdly low price for one of my trade-in's. Attempting to charge a $399 "Doc Fee" should be criminal in a time where computers are used for most of the work. We were way far apart on the SUV so we decided to see what they could do on the daily driver for me. Well, out comes the manager with some $16,000+ price. When I explained to him that it was listed on the internet for $12,100 he argued that it wasn't. I showed him the printout. He made some excuse and went back AGAIN and reworked the numbers. Again, way high. Although I will say that he offered me a fair price for the second trade-in. And AGAIN a laughable $399 "Doc Fee" on a $12,000 used car that they "just got". My wife and I left. We won't be back. I don't mind paying a fair price for both parties involved, but I will not deal with liars. This isn't my first rodeo, but it will surely be my last with Edmond Hyundai. I'll try Norman Automax Hyundai next. If they are snakes too, it'll be back to Toyota for us. More

Be weary of add on's by the dealership Overall the dealership is ok, but I feel the add on's should not be added unless the customer request it, therefore I was forced to buy items I wouldn Overall the dealership is ok, but I feel the add on's should not be added unless the customer request it, therefore I was forced to buy items I wouldn't have if given the choice. Also when doing the finances everything need should be done at the time of signing, not calling me days and months afterwards because you forgot something. I agreed to a price , provided them with everything they asked and signed the contract as such therefore it is on the dealership if they did not request the correct paperwork to obtain a rebate. More
