Service Dept could improve I dropped off my car for a service appointment. The tech hit accept for a legally binding document before I had a chance to read it. Also, a different tech left equipment in my vehicle and I had to turn around and return it costing me more time. Overall, the issue was resolved and affordable. And my experience with Cathy in the service department was superior. More

Warranty Service on My Genesis G80 Car was brought in for warranty work with an appointment. Upon arrival I was told that the concierge car was out. I said that I would take whatever Car was brought in for warranty work with an appointment. Upon arrival I was told that the concierge car was out. I said that I would take whatever they had to drive. They told me they had no cars to loan. (No one offered to get me a rental.) I gave the technician a list of my concerns - he was fine. 13 days later I finally got my car back. Some of the items that were deemed to be okay are still not working properly. The paint item is okay now, but it took them days to get it right. I am still not satisfied with several of the concerns I voiced to them and have had the same issues reoccur the day after they returned the car to me. More

My fuel was half full and as averaging 17.6 miles per gallon, when I picked the car up it was at 15.3 - why???? Second the service writer called me ten minutes after reaching my work. The first words to me "there will be addition charges today." No summary of my warranty coverage or prepaid inspection items before telling me I have "additional charges"for service items. Suggestion, call customer: We are currently inspecting your vehicle, changing the oil, which of-course there is no charge, in addition, your battery is not accepting a charge and will be replaced under warranty. Lastly, Your car is approaching three yeas and we would like to change the two primary air filters. The additional charge for parts, labor and taxes is $111.32, is that acceptable?.....the suggestion may only be a small change in approach but some of us are distrusting. There was a note on the paperwork that the alignment needed to be checked. Why, I had four new tires put on the car and an alignment done two months ago at the dealership??? The only reason I give for the positive 2 stars was because the cashier who was pleasant, professional and looked me in the eye and smiled. More
