Waste of My Time!!! One of the worst experiences I have ever had in a car dealership. I came prepared to buy a used car with cash in hand for a deposit. I had driven the same model, make, and year of car at another deal prior to coming. Ed Napleton just happened to have one with a few more bells and whistles. I had emailed a few times with the used car internet sales associate before coming. But apparently, the internet sales associates aren't allowed to sell you the cars once you get to the dealership. I was assigned a floor salesman who took me out on my test drive. I was then put in a cubical for an hour and a half of just "5 more minutes" for appraising my trade-in vehicle. Then it was we are waiting on financing. I still hadn't been told what they had appraised my vehicle for. The floor sales associate that we had been assigned didn't ask if I was putting down any more money than my trade-in. So how were they able to work on financing when I hadn't discussed the amount we were agreeing to finance in the first place. The offer they came to me with was a joke. Our wonderful deal was a $359/month for 72 months. Ummm... I was planning on financing $5,000 at the most! Lets do the math shall we. $5,000/72 months = $69.44 a month Now... My credit is less than perfect to say the least. I was expecting a high interest rate for sure. BUT ACCORDING to Cars.com calculator, if I finance $5000 at a max rate of 25% (this should include tax, title and documentation fees), I should pay $111 for 72 months. What kind of math are they using at Ed Napleton! Lets look back at their offer... I would be financing $13,250. The car I was looking at was $10,491 and that included our trade-in. Now, they never showed us or said a specific trade-in value for my vehicle. I had already had it appraised at CarMax for $4,000. So what where they giving me for my car or was I paying them to take it off my hands? Beware, ask for your car keys back after they appraise your vehicle. Thankfully, I came with my spare set because they would have held me hostage even longer. Hopefully, they will be mailing me my spare set of keys. Brush up on your math and facts before you deal with this dealership. More

AVOID This dealer is a joke simple as that i came to look at a vehicle test drove it and was ready to purchase for the right price i did not ask for much b This dealer is a joke simple as that i came to look at a vehicle test drove it and was ready to purchase for the right price i did not ask for much but 500$ off the price but they kept trying to add on extra crap that i did not want or need 1500$ certified warranty and a 1000$ for free oil changes for a year and interior protection and lifetime free car washes i dont even live in the area and they say they cant remove that it comes with the the car!! no matter how many times you tell them you dont need it and want it the sale guy will tell okay forget that then and after agreeing with a price he talks to his manager and comes back with the same price but removes 100 off the 1000$ package so somehting i dont want and dont need you try to add on this place is a joke please dont waist your time like i did More

I asked if the car's rims had road rash and the sales person said he personally walked around the car and said no may a one or two small spots. When I looked at the car all 4 rims had 80% road rash. The sales people are SLOW and PUSHY. Avoid Justin..typical sales person and a liar. He lied about the cars condition and the amount of trade in for my vehicle. WORST dealership experience EVER. From an Acura dealer I would have expected much more. More

A bunch of dishonest people, I would not go there again I am very disappointing with the service I experienced with Ed Napleton Acura and cannot believe Acura provide this kind of service. They are a bunch of dishonest people and their goal is to get as much money from you and treat you like an idiot. After we tested drive a certified used Acura RDX, I was informed that if you want to buy the vehicle, you must purchase the leather protection package that worth around $700. You must include this package when you purchase a vehicle from Ed Napleton Acura and other Acura dealer will not required to purchase this package. Secondly, the dealer refuse to work the number with us, they only deduct $100 from the asking price of $30900. The manager told us Ed Napleton ran through the database in Midwest region and the asking price is the best you can find in the region and they cannot lower price. First of all, I don't know why we need to spend $700 leather protection package that we absolutely have no interest at all. Secondly, I would not believe a dealer can only deduct $100 from the asking price. So we left without purchase from Ed Napleton. Couple days later, Ed Napteton kept called us and asked to go back and they are willing to work things out. If they are so interest in our business, why don't they work the numbers with us in the first place. Like one week later and I checked the listing again, the asking price was dropped another $1000. Thank you so much for telling us the asking price cannot be lower because it is the best price Midwest Region. I am sure any potential car buyer would love to paid more then the asking price and buy any additional service package they don't need because Ed Napleton offer the best price in Midwest Region. We just simply go to another Acura dealer. The Salesman are willing to remove $500 dollars when we start negotiating for a similar year, similar model and similar price RDX. Most importantly, no one asking us to buy any service package we don't want to buy. Not to mention I purchased a certified used Acura RDX couple years ago and the dealer I went able to deduct $1000 from the asking price. More

They only one nice person that I was glad to deal with was cashier. Customer service - 0. They will give you some 'insurance' that you never need, and when when you say I don't want that they will response 'we can not take it out from vehicle because it something that we already did'. Finally after 1h of debating they will remove it from list but WON'T reduce total price. Customer service after purchase: A financial guy did mistakes while doing paperwork and after I realized that at home they gave me HARD HARD HARD time 'helping' with that. Finally: I was forced to fix a problem by myself. Do you recommend for anyone! There are many others Napleton locations across Chicago, don't pick this one if you don't wanna spend your time and money but as a result you still will be disappointed as I am now. More
