Thank you for your response. Sadly, as I've already mentioned, the Hyundai's service department for keeping appointments has not been good. To even aggravate the matter more, when a service technician is not going to be available for an appointment, already made by the service advisors, (there is NO communication to advise we must reschedule - that's unacceptable). I show up and am told, basically make another appointment and leave. I purchased this vehicle in an effort to 'shop locally' and to be assured warranty service would be available when needed. Hasn't worked out well. My immediate concern is my next appointment, set for 8AM, May 22, 2023 - WILL A TECHNICIAN BE AVAILABLE OR WILL I BE SENT HOME AGAIN WITHOUT SERVICE? (Please advise in this matter before May 22nd.) Thank you, Lee Anders lee_anders@yahoo.com Phone: 520-378-9915 Note: Your service department already had this contact information, if someone had checked the computer.

Hello EJ, we apologize that you are unhappy about your visit. Unfortunately, we have to make decisions about which vehicles we can take in on trade, and while we don't like to turn anyone away, we cannot take on a liability from Carvana right now due to their financial situation as a company. We join many other dealerships in making this difficult decision to not accept Carvana vehicles as trade ins. We appreciate your understanding in this matter.

I appreciate the response and your position; however, passing the problem to the consumer is irresponsible. If you had a problem with Carvana; you should have pursued it through the courts or the State Attorney General. Further, I have a concern about the fact that we went through the buying process and had a written deal with you folks for the purchase. It was not until after the deal was printed that you disclosed that you would not take a trade from Carvana. Let me ask a question. Have you posted a notice that you will not take Carvana trades in your buildings? I saw no disclosure. Further, why were we not informed at the onset of negotiations that you would not take Carvana trade ins? Why cause me to spend hours going through the negotiation process only to pull the rug out from under us at the last minute? Also; how many times have you had a problem with Carvana and when? Doing research into the issue, it appears there was a problem with Carvana issuing timely titles on trades during their bankruptcy process. This has apparently now ended. How do you know that this would still be a problem? Under your ideology, it appears you have decided to never take a trade from Carvana again, regardless of whether a problem still exists. That is an unreasonable position to take. We have purchased several vehicles from Lawley in the past. I would think you would try to find some workaround for return customers; however, I guess customer loyalty is something you folks are not interested in? I could have simply paid the vehicle off prior to coming into your organization if I had known you would not take trades from Carvana. Probably would have resolved the situation by simply communicating with you customers. My thought was that you would have liked the 15k in cash rather than tied up in a vehicle trade. Also, you could have invited us back after we paid off the vehicle or provided us with some sort of incentive to complete the deal once we had the title. FYI, I have paid off the Cadillac, the day after our surprise at your organization. Given the lack of communication; the waste of my time negotiating the deal; and the frustration with your policies; can you give me a reason why we should come back to Lawley rather than simply driving to Tucson to make our purchase? I would like to hear back from you folks.

Lawleys response: "Mr. Morgan, thank you for sharing your feedback again. Our apology is that we had to cancel the negotiations once we found out that your trade was from Carvana, for business reasons which we've explained on your other reviews. At any point before the deal is finalized, either party has the option of backing out. We assure you that we are not intimidating you, we are not punishing you, we are not discriminating against you, we are not manipulating you. We have made a business decision, which we will continue to stand by. We appreciate your service and the freedom which allows all of us to make the best choices for our own best interests, even when it does not result as all parties might wish. Additionally, it is incorrect that we own all of the dealerships in Sierra Vista." I appreciate your response and your view. Let me ask a couple of questions: I had decided to simply let this issue go. Your sales person had stated to me that if we paid off the vehicle and received the title; he would complete our current deal for the vehicle. WE DID SO. We paid the vehicle off and received the title 10 days after this event. I then contacted your dealership and was told that as I had issued a poor review of your company that Lawley would no longer do business with us; and your sales person stated he could not complete the deal we previously negotiated. This sounds rather draconian to me. What is the intent of not doing business with us if not to punish, retaliate, or coerce us due to simply providing feedback concerning this issue? What is your intent? Also, you appear to be the only new car dealership in Sierra Vista AZ. Can you please tell me of any other new car dealerships that you do not own? I would like a response.
