Service Issues I lease a 2017 Lincoln MKZ. As a recent transplant from NJ I was having a few issues with my auto. I had EdHoward dealership pick up my car for servic I lease a 2017 Lincoln MKZ. As a recent transplant from NJ I was having a few issues with my auto. I had EdHoward dealership pick up my car for service. When car was picked up I had to sign documents, re: a loaner and The issues i needed do have checked out. One was any repairs had to be reviewed by owner (me). They changed the oil and rotated the tires without looking into cars history. This service was done in NJ. They checked after work was done, and demanded that I pay for theservice. I adamantly disagreed, and finally had the charges dismissed. Well with that said, I had Steve Fine return my car, which after a few choice words I was told that I should find another dealership. The sales staff really understand their products and make the buying experience a more educated experience. The service department always gives extra effort without inflating the costs of repairs. I will continue to purchase Lincoln's in the future however they really need to pay more attention to the ambience once you enter the building. From the showroom to the customer waiting area the feeling is everything is dated. The waiting area is one step above metal chairs, the walls are scuffed and in need of paint. Our local Ford dealership knows how to make the visiting experience impressive, comfortable and classy. My hope is that our Lincoln dealership is not finished with their remodel and will make the experience worthy of purchasing a 60.000.00 vehicle Don"t change the staff, they are wonderful, just give them a more elegant interior experience. As a buyer I expect better. More
