My family and I were exploring Chattanooga recently when our 2016 Honda Pilot was burglarized (9-17-24) while parked at a hotel. They smashed out the driver’s window and the rear hatch window. After getting our 2016 Honda Pilot was burglarized (9-17-24) while parked at a hotel. They smashed out the driver’s window and the rear hatch window. After getting the police reporting process finished, I started figuring out how to get repairs done without derailing the rest of our trip. I talked to Matt at Honda. He told me to just bring it to them and let them take care of it. He told me they would keep it inside until the work was done so the weather wouldn’t be an issue. He also pointed me to the Enterprise Rental across the street. My wife and I got a suitable rental car and dropped off our Pilot with Matt. He kept me updated throughout the process over the several days it took to get parts on site, repairs completed, and a thorough cleaning done. We changed our plans for the return trip, opting to stay south of Chattanooga and pick up our car on Monday (9-23-24). The repairs were excellent and the cleanup was very good (I picked out about five pieces of glass the vacuum didn’t get). Matt was off so I couldn’t thank him personally for making a bad situation much more tolerable for us. His customer service and communication was exemplary. More

I would like to thank Kevin Roberts and Denny Elder for a great job helping me with service of our vehicle. We have purchased several vehicles from Economy Honda and we have always had them serviced there. T great job helping me with service of our vehicle. I went in for an oil change and tire rotation, and walked out with $500 in repairs. They broke off my stud (granted I told them to try) taking off the lug nut. So to fix I needed a new wheel bearing and stud out with $500 in repairs. They broke off my stud (granted I told them to try) taking off the lug nut. So to fix I needed a new wheel bearing and stud. I went with the "cheap" $60 aftermarket instead of the $220 OEM and said fix those and I'll do the rest. Well I started to get a wobbling sound because apparently my right tire was loose after that. I took it back in and they said that's what you get with aftermarket parts and we'll charge you another $160 for OEM and no labor costs. Question: What the point of aftermarket parts if they don't work? Every vehicle has aftermarket parts that work totally fine. So I'll just get the whole wheel assembly online for less than $60 and put it on myself with the help of a friend. As far as the other $500 in recommended repairs (brakes, filters, and rotors), I think I'll handle that myself too. Prices are ridiculously high! When they were on Chapman Rd they left off my oil cap after an oil change and covered my engine with oil that night, the next day they cleaned it up and then wrecked it bringing me my vehicle. That whole place is bad, except for service reps. They are at least nice. More

I consistently take my Hondas to this dealership to be serviced, especially at the major intervals that require timing belt replacements, etc. I am saddened to say that I will no longer be doing so. I too serviced, especially at the major intervals that require timing belt replacements, etc. I am saddened to say that I will no longer be doing so. I took the vehicle in to be serviced according to the maintenance minder. However, Addison Webb approved work on my ticket that we NEVER discussed, aside from a tire rotation, oil change, and drive belt. I asked to have an inspection done and to be notified of anything else that may be recommended at this time. When they sent the digital approval contract, suddenly I am looking at almost $4000 worth of “critical work.” When I attempted to decline the add-ons on the digital contract, to my dismay, I could not decline certain services that he approved on my ticket. Not only did we NEVER discuss said services, but I also had NOT signed the service agreement before Addison told the technician to begin work on the vehicle. I refused and told them I would come get the key and car and take it to a different Honda dealership. BUT they had already drained my coolant (which was never agreed to nor discussed) and then they left it that way at the end of the day. They have cost me time and money, along with their technician’s time. I have never had an experience this poor at this dealership, and it is highly suspect and unethical to start work on a vehicle without signed approval. Especially when it was never part of the work the vehicle was brought in for. I am angry and saddened at the mood and tone of the service department now, and I feel considerably disrespected and blindsided by this move. I will NEVER take my vehicle there for service again, and when it’s time for a new car, I can attest that I will NOT consider Economy Honda. The only positive here is that Ritchie was willing to listen to my concerns and have my car ready to pick up tomorrow. We have agreed that I will pay for the oil change, and they will eat the cost of the coolant service that I did not authorize. Such a ridiculous and needless amount of stress this added to my day.
