My initial call to East Syr Chevy - I was connected to Steve. He was excellent. I had made several calls to other Syracuse area dealers and I was getting the typical run around, given half of the inform Steve. He was excellent. I had made several calls to other Syracuse area dealers and I was getting the typical run around, given half of the information, or I heard " we can't help you unless you stop out to the dealership", or "we can't discuss price over the phone" etc - EVEN when I provided a range of prices I wanted to be in. When I got conencted to Steve, he listened, asked a couple of questions, answered mine, provided specific detatils of the vehcile I was asking about, discussed the differences between the models and a range of prices. FINALLY I had information to make some decisions. I drove to the dealership (in a blizzard), he had a couple cars ready to show etc. I ran across the owner of the dealership and told him that Steve was the only reason I was at East Syracuse Chevy. My intention was to finalize some details, however I decided to make my decision then and there- I leased a Chevy Equinox- I believe I received an excelant deal and the follow up service has been fantastic. I went to East Syr Chevy because of my interaction w Steve, I will return to East Syracuse Chevy for the great service and follow up by the other team members at this excellent dealership! Gina (our sales gal), stated "I have much to learn" being she was rather new to the team, yet working with her you would have never known. Under the heavy pressure of Keith (Anthony's Father) and Teresa (Anthony's Mother) she never folded or seemed overwhelmed. In the end, we received a great deal and want to thank the entire team for their cooperation; especially Gina for making our experience memorable! Keep up the great work!!!! This time around in purchasing a car I was considering driving a different make of car, so I explored other dealerships. The response I got from being a "first time customer" was disappointing to say the least. After a frustrating time I decided it was much more worth my time, money, and peace of mind to return to East Syracuse Chevy to see Mike Morrissey. I purchased my very first car from him, and even then he treated me like a long time customer; never pushing me one way or the other. He simply listened to what I had in mind and showed me my most affordable options. If my taste began to change he knew exactly what else to look for. No tricks. No jargon, cliche phrases, or talking "sales" talk. It is clear he has the best intentions and respect for his customers. Thanks to them, the challenges I encountered with my 2011 Cruze were always taken care of with care, concern and precision. I also give kudos to the courtesy drivers who always gave me "over the top" service. It was because of these employees, and the good deal offered by GM and East Syracuse Chevy, that I decided to purchase a 2014 Cruze. My husband and I searched all over Syracuse area in Oct. '13 for a truck to haul our chosen 5th wheel as we retire. We thought the Chevy Silverado 2500 we saw in this lot was what we wanted and needed. Th '13 for a truck to haul our chosen 5th wheel as we retire. We thought the Chevy Silverado 2500 we saw in this lot was what we wanted and needed. Therefore began the paperwork to purchase it. We thought this truck on the lot would fit our needs. After explaining what we were planning this spring as we both retire from our jobs, Bill discovered that the truck we thought we needed wasn't the correct one for our needs. He quickly let us know so that we wouldn't be disappointed. We greatly appreciate his expertise on this discovery plus calling us immediately to explain. We met with him so we both would understand that we needed a towing package to haul the chosen 5th wheel for our travels. Plus this is exactly our desire and we are happy but to make this purchase even better he found us a better financial company which made the deal even sweeter. We couldn't be more happy. This truck is better equipped than the one we originally chose. He answered all our questions. The truck we purchased has more than we expected and we are very satisfied with this transaction and experience. More
