Every thing from when I entered the dealership until I left was positive. The receptionist was polite and informative. She told me that when I was ready she would get me a sales person. I was intoduced to Andrew Mongru. Andrew certainly knows his product line inside out. We negotiated a deal; I brought the car. I have been buying cars for over fifty years and Andrew Mongru is by far the best car salesman I have ever incounted. Tony More
We specifically asked the dealer for their best deal we did not wish to haggle on price. A lease price was presented for a 2013 Legacy and we were told this was their best price and how the dealer wanted t did not wish to haggle on price. A lease price was presented for a 2013 Legacy and we were told this was their best price and how the dealer wanted to earn our business we believed them and placed a deposit on the vehicle. Which 10 days later we have still not seen a refund. The next day we made internet inquires and found two other dealers that quoted monthly lease payments that were between $40 and $50 per month less. In both these cases the car had the same options, same amount of money down and terms. The vehicle we actually purchased had additional options not included in Donaldsons deal. When we called Donaldsons to notify them we had a better deal presented to us they told use the other dealer was a liar and would never give us the car for that price. We were also told that Donaldsons would meet the price quoted but would not include the additional options we had requested (remote Start and Fog Lights) and that we would have to pay for them ourselves ($1,000 out of pocket) and when we refused to accept that offer the salesmen became rude and pretty much hung up on us. Not a good experience and not a trustworthy dealer I would not recommend this dealer to anyone. What bothers us the most is our 17 year old son was with us and we had hoped the lesson would be you can trust people when they give you their word but in this case what he learned was DO NOT TRUST A CAR SALEMEN at least not at Donaldsons! The story has a happy ending if you want a good truthful deal on a Subaru go see Carol and Cathy at Competition Subaru, because they don't lie and delivered everything they promised. Competition Subaru was $50 a month lower than Donaldsons on a 36 month lease. More
My overall experience with Donaldson's was excellent. Andrew Mongru was the salesperson I dealt with. He was very friendly and we were able to "cut to the chase" quickly on the price of the new car as Andrew Mongru was the salesperson I dealt with. He did a very good job explaining the differences between my old Outback and the new one I was purchasing. I came away feeling very good about the transaction. The entire team did a great job. I have always been happy with the service department there and will continue to use it. More
