Skyrocketed prices and unbelievable poor service Brought car for services due to an issue last August to East Bay BMW. I was also recommend to replace the battery at that time. Few weeks later I realized radio/CD player is loosing power. Month later realized that dash board is losing the power time to time. Due to that cannot paly the radio. Due to busy work schedule and Covid 19 never get an chance to bring the car and driving was reduced significantly. Finally managed to bring the car back to service few weeks back. During diagnosis it was discovered negative terminal of the battery was not tighten properly during the battery installation and that is the reason dash board and radio losing the power. Then it was fixed. But only day went by I see dash board is still losing the power. It is not frequent as before. But it is still losing. So the technician at East Bay BMW are not capable of even tightening a battery terminal. But their charges are sky rocketed. I texted the service associate it has been over 4 days no one even get back to me. I have four other cars Cadillac, Jaguar and Honda. All serviced by local dealers. I never ever received a poor service like East Bay BMW from any of them, More

Most dealers try to talk you into things you won't need, inflate pricing and don't listen. test drives are rushed through, just to get you to the table to sign the contract. Then, there is East Bay BMW: - no one is hunting you down at the lot, they let you browse the selection at your pace. Have questions? Ask for a rep and someone will come. They are all knowledgable. They listen. And they let you do what you want to do. You have no clue what you want? No problem, they show you different types, versions and ask you what you mostly value in a car. Then they show you what fits you. No questions about your budget, just assessing your needs. figured out what you like? Alright, Lets take it for a spin. TAKE AS MUCH TIME AS YOU NEED. Yes you have read correctly! The recommend at least 20 minutes to get a feel for that car. That is incredible. No one is sitting in your backseat, trying to explain all the knobs for you while you try to bond with the car. They give you the keys and let you drive it at your own pace. We came back, tried another car and felt the 330i it is for us. Too expensive? let's evaluate the options. BMW incentives and specials are all openly discussed (not like other dealers that won't honor factory incentives and specials). OK, let's browse the low mileage service cars they have at the lot. Maybe we can find you a better deal here. I was stunned by the willingness to find me the car I wanted at the price I wanted. And I never had the feeling being pushed or rushed into a signature. You are not ready to sign today? Maybe want to sleep over it? No problem. This is the service I want and I got it at East Bay BMW. I also got a dream car at a price I can afford. Kudos to David who took the time and did a awesome job. Finance department was very pleasant to work with and the whole process was quick, smooth and hassle free. Also, in Covid-19 age, it was good to see the high level of precautions they put in place. Every vehicle is sanitized before and after use. Disinfect stains everywhere and enough space to keep social distancing. More
