My wife and I started our BMW search first at Concord BMW. However, we were both dissatisfied with the service we received from the Concord salesperson. He did not listen to us, tried to sell us a new BM BMW. However, we were both dissatisfied with the service we received from the Concord salesperson. He did not listen to us, tried to sell us a new BMW 328i that did not fit our budget nor quite the level of luxury vehicle we were going for, and even after asking him if there was a certified used BMW that might better fit our needs, the salesperson became more and more forceful and bent on selling us the new car--even trying to push leasing a new car for 72 months! We thanked him and left with no car. The next day, we drove from our home in Oakland all the way to East Bay BMW in Pleasanton and were leery as to what kind of service we would encounter. Wow, were we thrilled at the positive difference! After scouring the Certified Used BMW's by ourselves first, we requested a salesperson to show us the two 335i's we had narrowed our search to and were very pleasantly surprised by the high level of professionalism, honesty, and top-notch customer service shown us by Mr. Tony Yuan. Integrity means everything to us, and my wife and I were so impressed with how truthful and forthcoming Tony was with us throughout the entire interaction. He was extremely thorough from the point of showing us the Blue Book price on the car right at the start to staying till late to go over the navigation system, car key, lights, locks, mirrors, and a sundry of car functions prior to us driving off the lot as owners. Not once did I feel pushed, bullied, ignored, discriminated against because we are a married lesbian couple, or taken advantage of by Mr. Yuan, nor by the Financial Manager who also provided us superb customer service. I can honestly say, at 50 years old now, my experience with East Bay BMW is the best experience I have ever had in the 31 years I've encountered since buying my first car from a dealership. I do not say this lightly. I have a high profile job as a Vice President of a Bay Area college where hundreds of faculty, staff, and students check my parking place to see if I am in each day at work. Because they saw a beautiful new BMW 335i parked in my reserved space, individuals were asking me all week if that was my new car they saw in the parking lot. To let you know just how much I appreciated my experience at your dealership, in just the one week since I have owned my new Certified used BMW, I have probably recommended East Bay BMW and Mr. Tony Yuan two dozen times to those who asked me about my new car. I cannot thank you enough for a fantastic experience that has not ended just because we signed the dotted line. Today, my wife took our new BMW in to have the LowJack added and the car care service. The service staff was very helpful and also provided excellent service. According to my wife, she was provided a loaner car with absolutely no hassle, the Service Department went out of their way to provide her options for the floor mats she inquired about, and the Service Manager called twice to let us know how the car was progressing with the intended services throughout the day. My expectation based upon every single interaction thus far, is that the excellent service afforded us by all personnel at East Bay BMW will remain superior, honest, and fully customer service focused. Shawn was great to work with. When we first arrived at the dealership, Shawn approached us with a smile and let us know that he was there to help us if we needed him. This was our first time at a BMW dealership. I had checked advertised prices on-line and it looked like East Bay BMW had the most competitive certified pre-owned pricing. I first stopped by to just look as I wasn't sure what kind of car I wanted to buy. The salesperson, John Daniel, was very helpful and answered all my questions. I (along with my daughters) took a short test-ride. About 2 weeks later, I returned with my husband and we asked for John again. After a pretty short time, we decided to buy the 2011 that had been a "loaner" car. I'm very happy with my purchase. So far, so good. More

Phil Wiltz did an awesome job. He never once tried to "sell" us something. He was just focused on trying to identify what we wanted and then find it. Not only did he find us the car we were looking for, he drove to another dealer (90+ miles one way) to pick it up and was able to deliver the car to us in the same day. Alyce Phillips in the Finance area moved us through the details and didn't pressure us on the "extras" but did a great job informing us of the options available. Overall, this was a very pleasant experience working with professionals that were clearly there to service their customers. Well done. More
