My new car buying experience was worry-free and they handled every question & concern I had. Julian Ruiz took a lot of time to go over every inch of my new car with me and made sure I knew what every button, lever and knob did! Would definitely purchase a vehicle from Earnhardt again. Made me feel good that Earnhardt family members were present at the dealership and even got to meet & speak with Bull Earnhardt (Tex's grandson). More
$4500 Mistake! (Final: $1500 mistake) Went to Leo to extend the lease on my current Lexus - I didn't want to put a deposit down for a new lease. Leo ran some numbers and told me I had put a $4500 security deposit down on my current car and would get that back, and only needed to put $3000 down on the new lease. The monthly payments were lower, (though Leo had calculated a 3 year lease when I wanted 2). That is clearly a no-brainier! I get the new car home, after 3 hours at the dealership with prep and paperwork. Leo calls me the next morning to tell me he made a mistake - there is no $4500 security deposit. But his manager offered me $500! Leo went on and on about how they don't have $4500 to give me! I am done with Earnhardt - I won't service, lease or buy from them again. I'm still considering returning the car. The bottom line is they do not take responsibility for their mistakes, and that is just bad business. Update: Received a call from the GM 2 business days later. He offered to take back the new car and give me my old car back. We spent 20 minutes on the phone with my explaining why this was not acceptable and that the responsible solution was to refund me $4500. The GM would not budge. Finally I requested a refund of the down payment I made for the new car, which was $3000. He said he would call me back after he asked Leo if he would write a personal check. At the end of the day, the GM called to state that I will be receiving a check for $3000. I cannot give a higher rating on customer service since I had to write poor reviews and refuse to do anymore business with Earnhardt before getting a partial refund. 4-5 star service is doing the right thing for the right reasons. More

We were interested in a used Lexus GX that had the capacity to tow a Razr and had room for the grandkids. My son-in-law referred me to David Bader of Earnhardt Lexus who had sold him his car. David was low pressure and informative; we felt very comfortable with him. After test driving a used GX and asking a million questions, we realized it was a small step up to a new 2016 GX. They had one with just the right equipment (no kidding) we were looking for and we drove it home. As a guy who views shopping cars like going to the dentist, I was pleasantly surprised by our experience. Upon returning from the test drive, we completed some brief financial paperwork and then were presented with the financial options. David makes the process most enjoyable and shouldn't selecting a new vehicle be just that?! He is courteous, knowledgeable about his product and a most pleasant man. He gave me a bid online, and gave me a final price, tax and title out the door. I started to price shop at other dealerships. The other had sold out of base models, and were trying to get me to buy upgraded models. I ended up doing business with Steve for the following reasons: 1. He did not flood me with emails and phone calls [ one salesman has called me about 1r times] 2. He did not have other staff call me. 3. He never tried to get me to buy upgrades. 4. He followed up once to see if I was still interested. He did not push or pressure me, simply asked me if he could be of help. He offered to honor the original deal - did not try to squeeze me for more money because the supply of 2015's dropped. 5. When I decided to purchase, he sent me a credit app link, had me fax some information to him, and handled all the paperwork. All I had to do was pick up the car and sign papers. Everyone was courteous and helpful. They explained my other options ie extended warranty, but accepted no for an answer- no arguments, no nonsense, no games. Straightforward business and customer service. I will be going to this dealership for service even those I have one much closer.
