I purchased my 2012 Hyundai Santa Fe from a good friend who purchased it new from Earnhardt Hyundai North Scottsdale in fall of 2011. I continued taking it to Earnhardt's because they take care of it the w who purchased it new from Earnhardt Hyundai North Scottsdale in fall of 2011. I continued taking it to Earnhardt's because they take care of it the way it should be cared for. They are great to work with, are very responsive to any concerns I have regarding my car. Mike Southern was my initial contact but I have worked with other service representatives over past several years and all have been keenly aware of service and work that has been done and what most probable future needs might be. My Service Advisor on my last visit was Justin Shecton and he was right on top of his game and good to work with. I appreciate Earnhardt's because as a Phoenix resident since age 2, I appreciate having "Small town care" and the peace of mind that comes in working with people you trust. More

I wanted to report the experience I had today at Earnhardt Hyundai at North Scottsdale because I am very upset and I value the Hyundai brand. I called the service department of Earnhardt Hyundai t Earnhardt Hyundai at North Scottsdale because I am very upset and I value the Hyundai brand. I called the service department of Earnhardt Hyundai to schedule an appointment for my first maintenance at 7500 miles. The lady who answered my call asked a few questions about if I bought the car from them or if this is my first service appointment with them. After I answered these questions the lady asked my name and as soon as I tell my name Yusuf, she said “I am so sorry we do not have any availability until march 28th, which is a month and a week from now. Of course it is completely understandable and possible to be booked up but, somehow I just felt the mean attitude in her voice when she told me that and I felt she just didn’t want to bother dealing with me. I think it was because I am not a native speaker and my name is not an American name. Anyway, then I called Chapman Hyundai, another dealership just 5 miles away from the Earnhardt, and they said they have availability as soon as tomorrow, the next day, and the next day… So I asked the lady at the Chapman about what I experienced today with Earnhardt and if it is really possible to not have any availability until the end of March. She said it seems very unlikely but didn’t want to say too much. Nevertheless, I scheduled my appointment for the next day at Chapman Hyundai. After I am done with these calls I talked to one of my friends about the talk I had with Earnhardt service department and he suggested him giving them a call since he is a native speaker and he planned to introduce himself with a common name “Sam”. In the talk he told the lady he owns the exact same car as me and he is also a first time customer as me. The lady told him that starting next tuesday being March 2nd they have many availabilities. He hang up saying he will be out of town at that date and he needs to reconsider the appointment date. At this point I understood that I was discriminated because I was not a native speaker and the worse is because my name was not an american name. This was the first time I experienced this feeling ever in my life and I can tell it feels terrible. I know 99.9% chance nothing is gonna happen but I am writing this email because I feel responsible. I want to do my part to prevent other people being exposed to this. More

This dealership has ZERO interest in customer service. Over the past 2.5 years, I purchased 3 new vehicles from Earnhardt Hyundai in Avondale, the most recent, a Palisade, Calligraphy. There was an issue Over the past 2.5 years, I purchased 3 new vehicles from Earnhardt Hyundai in Avondale, the most recent, a Palisade, Calligraphy. There was an issue with the paint. I called Earnhardt Hyundai, Scottsdale to see whether I could bring my 3-week-old SUV so the issue could be corrected, since I live much closer to their dealership than I do the Avondale location. Even though I have my vehicles serviced at the Scottsdale location, the only thing they did was brush me off, tell me to take it back to Avondale, and hung up the phone. How considerate of you people at Earnhardt Hyundai, Scottsdale. I will NEVER purchase a vehicle from your location under any circumstances, and I will discourage anyone I know from doing so. Anyway, the issue was corrected at the Avondale location, 45 minutes away. More
