We worked with Robert Speer, and it was a super experience. He is so easy going, and very informative about the vehicles, that we were very sure in our decision to buy a new car. He walked us through the process, and I drove home my new car that afternoon. Thank you Robert! Now my husband wants to trade his car for a CRV! More

I have always had great experiences when purchasing or dealing with the service department, However, this experience has been above average. My sales man, Andy Griffith, was very professional, polite, and not at all pushy. I told him exactly what I was looking for and payment range, he delivered above and beyond what my expectations were. Usually going to purchase a new vehicle can be such a long and tedious process, but this visit was short, sweet and to the point. I would recommend Andy Griffith at Earnhardt Honda to anyone with out hesitation. In the future, I would deffinatly use Andy again. More

Everyone was so comfortable to work with, even double G in the final paperwork had us laughing. This is why I drive clear to Avondale for my service for the last couple of years. More

Bad Experience With Single Fleet Manager I want to preempt this by stating that I stopped by Earnhardt before and had excellent experience with Elton, a sales manager who was straight to the I want to preempt this by stating that I stopped by Earnhardt before and had excellent experience with Elton, a sales manager who was straight to the point and no bull- a very experienced and old-school person whose word you knew you could count on; He showed me the cars I was interested in no problem, answered any and every question- I had with absolutely no pressure whatsoever. After days of research, I had finally settled in on the car I was interested in (with lots of looking around, test drives, etc, at different dealerships), I did research like you didn't believe, knowing my quotes from other salespeople out the door (including if I decided to use my car as a trade-in and its Carmax value). I went in knowing my numbers, quotes, facts, everything, along with the approximate deal I could make (I was quote prepared and informed). I worked with Damon, who after presenting me with their out the door quote (with a breakdown in all costs), assured me after expressing my concern about the high costs (especially with the almost $2,000 worth of ad-ons) that his was the best deal they could offer (almost $6,000 over the other dealership's otd emailed quotes). I didn't let on that I knew as much as I did (especially with being a young-looking woman), and he used almost every persuasive tactic in the book, including but not limited to: telling us that he'd lose money, that other dealers are liars (when I had already gotten honest and written quotes from them and great deals and price matches/beats from them, with them knowing that if it went up a penny that I'd walk out, and they were committed to honoring their quote), trying to establish familiarity with us by using cultural wording (without knowing whether or not we even spoke a second language), trying to persuade the other person I was with as a pressure-tactic (the other person I was with was well-informed and prepared and knew that I was, too), trying to make us feel obligated to Earnhardt by letting us know that we basically had to trust him to show that we were "committed customers," trying to upsell next year's model that was "the exact same price" (along with trying to upsell a number of other cars that I was not interested in whose out-the-door cost was much higher), tried to make me feel bad (very subtly, but his tactics had those intentions), letting us know that there are no dealerships whatsoever that have no ad-ons or are without the ones that his cars had, which I knew was a lie (his ad-ons totaled almost $2,000 extra, when other dealerships offered tint alone, with others offering to throw in the tint or other ad-ons for free!), saying that my car was worth $2,000 lower than its average kbb and edmunds' value (when Carmax ended up giving $1,500 OVER kbb/edmund's), *THEN* trying to upsell his intentions and goodness by saying that because his dealership was the best he'd give me a thousand more for my car (still $1,000 under value of kbb/edmund's, while others offered to match my Carmax value!), establishing himself as the best Earnhardt Fleet Manager out there to earn your trust, establishing connection through polite shoulder/arm touch (in no way inappropriate! but still a tactical method used to establish human connection), and just talking your ear out. As a woman, although I hate to admit this as I work toward a world where a woman's presence can be just as strong as a man's (although we are definitely getting there!), I am glad I had a man with me, as I have a feeling that had I went in alone as I originally wanted to, especially being a young-looking woman, I would've been there with him for hours more (although I would not have let up or given in)! I finally asked him (still playing the part) if he was absolutely sure that this was the best he could do, letting him know that I could probably get better quotes elsewhere. His answer was an absolute yes. THEN, he went on talking our ear out some more, letting us know he was "helping us," (I had mostly stopped listening to his bs because I was completely done with him by then), then went to try to find out the quotes I got from other dealers, assuring that that's the *only* way he could help us, which told me right then and there that he was lying about his being the absolute best deal he could give me. Finally, when we were ready to leave, he brought out a gm to speak with me. The gm asked Damon in front of me (while the other person I was with had stepped out for a minute) if he did everything he could, to which Damon replied "Yeah, I even told her about x and y" (I have a feeling they were doing this to make me feel bad or make me feel like they were truly helping me [which didn't work] as these were simple yet core questions that could've and should've been presented while walking from his office over to where I was at if they had actually been trying to work with me). I told him my asking price, and the gm tried to match it, making an offer that was almost $5,000 UNDER the out the door price that Damon was presenting (though still much higher than the otd offers I received elsewhere), again, proving that Damon was presenting bs. I might have been willing to work with the gm and present my quotes, but after that experience with Damon, I was just done and wanted to get out of there. Not too long after I got my keys back from the gm, I walked out. Later that night, I went to a dealership whose Sales Manager had been true to his word and worked to get me at almost the exact out-the-door budget I had originally asked for, almost $6,000 UNDER the out-the-door price that Damon *assured* me was the best he could do. I can't speak for other Sales Managers/Directors/etc at Earnhardt, but I will recommend that you do NOT work with Damon as he spews bs and can be quite persuasive with words (possibly even charming), establishing connections, and using the methods he knows how to use. I will NEVER work with Damon again and would NEVER recommend him, and if it weren't for the amazing experience I had with Elton (and another man whose name I can't remember) a week or so before, I might consider never visiting Earnhardt Honda again. Buyers, do your research and get established out-the-door quotes (including a Carmax / offers to match/beat your trade-in deal) online/through email as proof before going in, that way you can call out bs and try to get a better deal (or just choose not to deal with it and walk out, or both) and you don't get lied to. Do NOT work with Damon. More

By 5 pm they couldn't figure out the problem so they charged us $220 and we left. Ridiculous that a Honda dealer can't calibrate their own vehicles. No warning lights were flashing when we arrived but LDW and FCW and a warning message were all flashing when we left. Internal camera failure or something. There is a # to call if not completely satisfied so I called and left message. Two days later I received a call back. He took some information and said he'd call back Monday but did not. More
