In May of 2013, after deciding the 2013 Acadia was the right vehicle for our family, I set out on the adventure of finding the best deal with the least amount of hassle. I looked forward to it like a hot right vehicle for our family, I set out on the adventure of finding the best deal with the least amount of hassle. I looked forward to it like a hot poker in the eye! I was fortunate to have insider knowledge of the "car business" and I did an excessive amount of research prior to getting started with the buying process. Knowing the vehicle I wanted and also knowing what I wanted in that vehicle, I decided to spare myself the pain of dealing with the traditional asphalt lot salesman and instead sit in my air-conditioned home and use the Internet to my advantage. I located a handful of vehicles within several hours of my hometown and started the process. In doing so, I dealt with Reggie Terry, the Internet Sales Manager at Eagle Buick GMC in Homassassa, FL. He answered my email requests promptly with a no pressure approach. After several emails back and forth between numerous dealerships, Reggie provided me with the best price of anyone around. My wife and I travelled to Eagle GMC to close the deal and get her new car. Upon arrival, I could tell Reggie was very busy. It was a holiday weekend and some of the better rebates were ending soon. Reggie politely greeted us and hustled to serve us and his other customers. I read every line of every piece of paper and found no hidden costs or deception in Reggie's pricing. Everything remained consistent with the deal Reggie offered me on the Internet. We were in a hurry to return home for prior commitments and Reggie did everything in his power to get us out of there as fast as possible. Reggie was personable, professional, and easy to deal with. After finishing up with Reggie, we set off to the finance department to finish the paperwork. Billy (LNU) was very courteous and professional. Billy answered every question we had and thoroughly explained every aspect of the paperwork. Billy offered additional items such as extended warranties, etc., without pressure and politely accepted if we declined to purchase the additional services/products. We have excellent credit. Billy got us financed at a lower rate than our credit union, which was offering us a really low rate. In the end, I felt like the dealership made a little money, we saved a little money, and the negative car buying experience I forecasted turned out to be a pleasant one! Craig More
Eagle GMC supposedly installed ACDelco fuel filter. 2 weeks and 2000 miles later the fuel filter failed in Colorado. Markley Motors GMC service in Fort Collins showed us the old filter that was not an A weeks and 2000 miles later the fuel filter failed in Colorado. Markley Motors GMC service in Fort Collins showed us the old filter that was not an ACDelco but was the old filter that Eagle was supposed to replace, and recommended we use ACDelco filters from now on, stating this on their receipt. Eagle refuses to pay for the cost of our unnecessary breakdown and repair after they failed to do the work we paid for. Eagle claims that we and Markley lied about the filter in order to not have to pay warranty on the part. We have been a good service customer of theirs but would never go back now after their horrid treatment. More

When we were gi However, between Reggie and Chris, the financial person, there were big problems. An error of $1579.70 was made in the paper work. When we were given the final paper work, I told them it was wrong. Chris had already left for the night. The next day I made four calls to the dealership to Reggie and Chris and none of which were returned. During my last call, Reggie told me that Chris had found an error and I would be happy with the new numbers. The next day when I returned, the price had gone down! Chris was arrogant! If I had made a $1500 error, the first thing I would do would be to call the customer. Neither of them did that! Also, I would think the sales manager would have come in and said how sorry he was for the error. He/She did not! I never got a purchase agreement on the car deal. All they did was use a "cash price" which had everthing net out on their retail installment sales contract. What a sham! Never again! More
If you go there BRING A MECHANIC! I purchased a 2001 jeep wrangler from this dealer. 3 weeks later I had to replace the motor, radiator and air conditioning. I paid 3,000 over the kelly blue book price for this lemon. I was promised new speakers when purchased. The reason why I would never recomend this dealer is because, first of all I paid too much for the new truck. The finance guy blantly lied to me. Telling me I had to buy warranties to get Bank of Americ because, first of all I paid too much for the new truck. The finance guy blantly lied to me. Telling me I had to buy warranties to get Bank of America to finance the loan. Well I called the Bank of America in the city where the loan was placed and they told me that was not true that I did not have to get the warranties to get the loan. Also the interest rate they charged me was too high for my credit rating which by the way is 843. I repeatly tried to get the GM, Russ Baldner, to call me, but there always was some excuse. They couldn't find him or somthing else came up. This dealership has very questionable practices. I Have been sick over this. Plus I still do not know if they cancelled the warranties. Stay as far away from this dearship as possible! Buyer Be Ware! More
This truck was purchased back in June 2011. Between June and September we have had over $ 2,000 of problems with this truck. The dealership sold us this truck with bad brakes front and back, no oil change, and September we have had over $ 2,000 of problems with this truck. The dealership sold us this truck with bad brakes front and back, no oil change, bad battery and much more. I called the dealership to see why a warranty wasn’t added. The dealership should pay for these things to be fixed. I have not had this truck for more than 3 months and I’m having all these problems. The salesperson Nick had a blank check from my bank where he was able to add a warranty and sales tax into my price but did none of this. I’m no service member will be able to used this dealer. They are selling lemon. My truck is a 2007 and I only had it for less than 3 months and have paid more than 2,000 in repairs. DON’T BUY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP. This dealership is ripping off a proud service member of the United States Army.. I am going to hold this dealership reasonable for these problems if I have to sue them I will. The following is a letter I sent to Eagle Buick/GMC on May 9, 2011 regarding the excellent service provided me by Eagle Buick/GMC Specifically by David Pento in the service department.... Eagle Buick/G May 9, 2011 regarding the excellent service provided me by Eagle Buick/GMC Specifically by David Pento in the service department.... Eagle Buick/GMC ATTN: Russ Baldner 1275 S Suncoast Blvd Homosassa, FL 34448 Dear Mr Baldner, I am writing to let you know how pleased I am with the personnel you have working for you at Eagle Buick/GMC. Over the past two years I have had multiple dealings with several departments and I will say that I received professional treatment at each one of those departments but, I especially wish to address a member of your service department, David Pento. Recently I brought my 2004 Cadillac DeVille in for service and after a conversation with David, decided to have a new set of tires placed on the car. David told me he’d order the tires and call me when they arrived. A few days later David called, I made an appointment and had the tires installed however, during a drive to Savannah, Georgia a few days later I noticed that at speeds of 65 to 70 MPH, the car developed a severe road vibration. Upon returning home I called David, he immediately without hesitation told me to bring the car back in. A second set of tires proved to be apparently faulty. David being very apologetic advised me that he would order another set, and that he would call me when they arrived. On May 9, 2011, David called that the new tires were in. On May 11, 2011 I took the Cadillac to the service department. In a short time David entered the waiting room and asked me to test drive the car, I did and was very pleased. What I’d like to add to this letter is that I’ve had many dealings with auto dealers service departments over the many years of my driving experience, and I would like to tell you that in those many years, David is the very best service man I have had the pleasure of dealing with. He’s very courteous, knows his job well and goes way above what I would consider, the necessary means to make a customer feel good about the service at Eagle GMC. David is a professional in more ways than one. His exuberance is catching, not to mention his friendly manners. I would highly recommend Eagle GMC to all my friends and acquaintances. Good job, you apparently know how to hire good well-trained people. In keeping with this letter of commendation to David, I would ask that a copy be placed in David’s personnel file. Thank you for taking the time to read this letter. Sincerely, Earl (Bud) Shott Sergeant Major (Ret) US Army More
