Les didn't pressure us into anything we didn't need and/or want, but did tell us about all of the extras that could be of great value. Mike Heying in service was instrumental in the selection of the Equinox based on his factual knowledge of its' "track record". I later found out he purchased an almost identical car for himself. I initially stopped by Elco to look at their inventory of used SUV's; their online resources indicated that they had a few that might meet my needs. My first contact was with a salesman named Kenny Kelly. We reviewed what they had in stock and discussed a couple of options. I couldn't stay long on this visit but before I left, Kenny insisted I was introduced to the General Manager. I thought it was interesting that they introduced all prospects, new vehicle or used, to the GM. Very classy. Kenny left a few voice mails apprising me of the arrival of other vehicles arriving subsequent to my visit. Just informative, not pushy in the least. On my next visit, Kenny was not working so I was turned over to another salesman, Kyle Ahrens. Kyle updated my search criteria profile, all my contact information and assumed responsibility of the sales effort. Kyle also periodically kept me updated on changes to their inventory, eventually guiding me towards a 2011 Traverse LT2 which was configured pretty much like I wanted from the outset. I found it interesting that throughout the sales process Kyle always referred to himself as the Second Salesman, Kenny was always the First Salesman. Even though Kyle essentially did all of the hard work, he never neglected to honor Kenny as the First Salesman. I'm sure they have rules to follow in giving credit where its due, but I think in this case it would have been easy for Kyle to take full credit. Again, classy. In the end, ELCO's dealer discount pricing, combined with GM's 60 month 0% financing proved to be too good to resist. I returned once for the installation of assist steps (running boards) and to get the Resist-All (leather upholstery protection) treatment. ELCO provided a loaner free of charge for the day. The service department ran smoothly and professionally and the adviser was well informed of the process and time requirements. To conclude, there are four other Chevrolet dealers closer to my residence but the drive to ELCO was worth the time. Great pricing, great financing, great salesmanship, great management. I would recommend them to anyone. More

Listened to my wants and needs and kept those in mind throughout the process. I wanted to downsize for several reasons from a 2007 Tahoe and needed a means to carry a bicycle most of the time. I started with the internet this time, looking on Elco's website, and found exactly what I had in mind in their inventory....chatted with Jim on-line with a few questions...that were answered completely and professionally. I gave J.T. a call early in the morning of the next day to see if he was going to be in that day...without hesitation, he said "yes...and when is a good time for you?" He came in on HIS DAY OFF to meet with us about this particular van!! Talk about going above and beyond!! From start to finish, J.T. was nothing but kind, courtious and professional! He went out of his way to make sure we were looking at what we wanted and needed....and best of all...no pressure. As usual, purchasing a car from Elco was a wonderful experience. J.T. did not try to sell us anything that we did not need BUT made sure we had everything that we DID need!! That speaks volumes!! He explained EVERYTHING in great detail and was very professional in every way. He even made sure that we had new headphones and remote for the DVD player for the kids!!! WOW!! I brought to J.T.'s attention that there was a small issue with the key remote. Within 10 minutes, he had the problem in hand and sent us over to the service dept. to get it fixed. We were out of there, with the problem solved, in a little over an hour. By the time we got to talk with Andy, in the finance dept., we were pretty pleased with our experience. Andy made it just that much better. Once again, nothing but the best!! He made sure that we had everything we needed, but nothing that we didn't need.
