Horrible Service I really do not want to give Duval Ford Service one star. This review concerns the Service Department. I took my 2000 F 150 for service to Duval Ford I really do not want to give Duval Ford Service one star. This review concerns the Service Department. I took my 2000 F 150 for service to Duval Ford on July 6, 2016. I asked to have three issues looked at: 1. Needed Air Conditioning system to be checked. 2. Needed all four disc brake serviced. 3. Needed my turns signals fixed. Service Rep calls me and says my battery probably needs to be replaced, took the bait and had that done also. Brought my truck in for service early AM on Thursday, July 6, 2016. Got an update that my truck would be ready by morning of Friday, July 7.2016. I said that would be fine and I would pick it up in the afternoon. The Bad I pick up my truck Friday afternoon and this is where my fun meter gets pegged to a 150%. 1st Issue- Air Conditioning My A/C was working fine when I brought it in. The air was cool but not cold. The compressor was working fine but I knew there was a leak. After picking my truck up and driving for about five minutes and nothing but hot air blows out and I could not hear the compressor running. Okay now I have to bring it back to Service Department to fix the A/C that was not broken to begin with. 2nd Issue- Brakes I have a coupon to get new brakes and rotors refinished for $179.98 per axle. So $359.96 for all four brakes to be fixed. As I am driving my truck in the same time as 1st Issue I step on the brakes for a stoplight and the brake pedal goes all the way to the floor and my truck is not stopping! My truck finally stopped when I got pretty close to the light. 3rd Issue - Battery As I am turning into Duval Ford My truck dies right on Cassat Avenue. Good thing the traffic was not bad. I was able to put my truck in Park and re-start the engine. The Ugly After getting the truck back to the Service Department, I pulled into the Service Bay and demanded to speak to the Service Manager. I just spent over $700.00 to get my truck fixed and have one issue fixed which was my turn signals. A/C Repair: I spent $170.00 for an A/C check that that actually broke my A/C when it was working at the time I brought my truck in for service. Brakes Repair: I could have gotten seriously hurt or killed because my brakes where not fixed correctly. It was apparent the mechanic that worked on my brakes did not properly test them after completing the task. I drove the truck the following week and my brakes were shuddering when stopping. I had to ask the Service Rep to get a mechanic to drive my truck and experience what was happening with the brakes. Now I have to bring my truck in for a third time to get my brakes fixed. I bring my truck in on Friday, July 22, 2016 to get my brakes fixed for good. Battery Replacement: When my truck dies in the middle of the intersection the first thing I think of is my battery died. Why because my old battery was working fine and the new one is not. This also happened within my five minute drive from above. I call the Service Rep on Saturday morning and tell him that I want my old battery back because I think there might be something wrong with this new battery. The Service Rep tells me they have already disposed of the battery and I cannot get it back. In Conclusion IF I was I treated this way at the Service Department would you want to ever buy a vehicle from Duval Ford? More

Duval Ford has a Great Service Dept. I have been using Duval Service for years, because of the good quality of work and parts. It is a friendly atmosphere and they always treat you fair. 6 month check up, oil change, and complete check I didn't have anyone to pick me up, so I waited while my car was being checked. The waiting room was very nice and had everything anyone would need wh I didn't have anyone to pick me up, so I waited while my car was being checked.
