I came in for a noise under the driver side tire area. I took their mechanic for a ride so he could hear the noise. After inspecting the car, he said it was a feathering issue in all of the tires. (The tire took their mechanic for a ride so he could hear the noise. After inspecting the car, he said it was a feathering issue in all of the tires. (The tires aren't even a year old.) The noise is ONLY heard under the driver side. I asked him to check the wheel bearings (as advised by my tire guy). He said they put the car on a rack and all the bearings were fine and he kept insisting it was a tire issue. I had already brought it to my tire shop and they said it was not a tire issue. I explained to everyone that the noise just started one day (I know the exact date!). It was not a noise that built up over time. As a matter of fact, I thought I had a flat tire when I started on my way from my house so I pulled over around the corner to check it. I had my tire guy speak to the mechanic at Duval and he suggested to him that they rotate the tires & see if the noise moves with the tire. Now why couldn't the mechanic think of that on his own? He was so quick to tell me how he has been doing this for over 25 years! My tire guy told him i the noise moves then it is probably a tire issue. If not, then it is another issue. I then relayed this to my service advisor Steve Delusa. The mechanic then chimed in that my tire guy is wrong and it is a tire issue and then they were both arguing with me in front of everyone. They both ganged up on me & humiliated me right there in the showroom! I asked Steve if he was willing to let me leave there that day in an unsafe vehicle & he said "the car is NOT unsafe". I asked him to cross rotate the tires to rule out whether the issue was tire related or not and he REFUSED! They said they wouldn't do anything further and they sent me on my way. They weren't even willing to do the most minimal of service to satisfy this customer! VERY POOR CUSTOMER SERVICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! And I wouldn't trust that mechanic with my life! I will never bring my car to this shop again! Now today I am left to find someone else to help me figure out what's wrong with my car. More
