But there is more: Upon further examination of the sales contract, I found the following: I will like to know why my taxes on the vehicle are $2045.45. When the taxable amount in the contract states: $16257.00. The sales tax for the county where I reside is 6%. Based on this, the sales tax amount should’ve been: $975.42; that’s a difference of $1070.03 Even if you would’ve used the NJ sales tax it’s not going to add to $2045.45. Furthermore in the state of Georgia and New Jersey the value of your trade-in is not subject to sales tax. So, price of the vehicle $30931.00 plus $695.00 shipping fee equals $31626.00, minus Trade-In of $16168.00, equals $15458.00, plus $799.00 of other fees, equals $16257.00; the dollar amount taxes need to be pay for. If my math is correct, I need to be refunded $1070.03. Hopefully, I’ll get an explanation on this issue, instead of having to "escalate" this with an attorney.

Our selling store was going to inform him when it arrived on site at which point it would be uploaded to our website so Tanya can help you proceed with a transaction. This is simply not true. The vehicle as been at the dealer since June 30th and the dealer has been trying to upload the vehicle to "Driveway". The problem is nobody at Driveway knows how to do anything. Heck, the information you've provided is completely wrong... Tanya has the email from the dealer on June 30th that includes a picture of the car at the lot... and just yesterday both her and Mike were telling me the car hasn't been delivered to the lot yet. You're a terrible company.
