It is our understanding that you are dissatisfied over not being able to get another temp tag. She sent you copies of the documents that went out to the DMV and explained that you would be reimbursed for a temp if you were able to get one out of your state. You have been unable to obtain it thus leading to understandable frustration. Please know that you will receive our full support to correct this issue until everything is completed.

Well, I got my plates. The dealership that I actually purchased the car from (Baierl Chevrolet in Pennsylvania) overnighted me a check and all the paperwork needed to go register the car myself. I was complaining to both places, so I'm not sure who actually got the ball rolling. But since the dealership was the one who actually sent the stuff, I'll give them the credit. The good news is that Driveway.com is not a scam. It's legitimate. I have a car with plates. But they have a long way to go to catch up to Carvana. That's for sure.

Edit 12/7/2022: Still have been waiting on my tag for the past 5 weeks after I received the car. Since the car originated from New Jersey, that state does not issue additional temps tags by law (my temp tag expired on November 24th, 2022), and my home state of Georgia will not issue a temp tag for a car that originated from an out of of state dealership. Essentially, I have been stuck with a car that I cannot legally drive and have no recourse on it. For any prospective customers of Driveway.com: Driveway will be very communicative up until the point of sale, but after that, and especially when following up on tag/title/registration - the communication goes down a black hole. I've called numerous times regarding my tag and have requested call backs over the past two weeks, but have received ZERO communication back. Unfortunately, once they have their money/trade-in, Driveway seems to have an issue with the follow-up processes. I cannot in good standing advocate Driveway after this point. Thanks and interpret this review as a cautionary tale.
