Its not Kerstin's fault, its the company's fault. Your policies regarding the delivery process should be transparent and clear, prior to your company received an individual’s money. Why do you charge a delivery fee up front, that you require people to pay, although it is the company, that decides, which delivery driver they are going to use, based on the lowest cost? That doesn't make sense. Once a vehicle is purchased and the delivery fee is paid, the vehicle should be delivered by the dirst driver available. You don't make customers wait, for your own personal convenience. Thank you

Your team is very aware of the issues and concerns, and we have been in contact with your team. No resolution to be had as the blame continues to be punted to third party, or process etc. Given the high number of like reviews on several other sites, it is a constant issue for your company and customers. Some customers are still facing this after 6 months. Hopefully, ours will not take that long, but its a possibility.

It has been made clear via cases that your company is unable to do anything to resolve the issues at this time, that it "is what it is". My case is updated with this concern via my contact with you.

Hi Mrs. Wagner, Kindly disregard the previous request for additional contact information via email. Necessary details were received on another platform allowing us to attach all feedback to your case keeping internal and online communication flowing. Paperwork submission occurred on 5/2 after the purchase, paperwork/contracting, and delivery phases were completed. The 4–6-week processing timeline provided by our DMV specialist Megan on 5/16 is accurate. Along with our third-party processor, we adhere to DMV restrictions in place between your home state and California, the vehicle's selling state. California does not give temp tags and unfortunately, Missouri would not issue another one for us. You were given a copy of the DMV documents to keep in the vehicle for proof if needed that license plates, title, and registration are on the way. We acknowledge and apologize for your frustration. Please be assured that everything is still on track to be received in the coming weeks.

Everything is not on track from a customers stand point. It may be for yours, but I am unable to drive the vehicle because of the delay with the paperwork. This is why I would not recommend anyone purchasing from driveway if they plan to drive their vehicles anytime soon. I would recommend another dealer that has adequate processes in place. This is mimicked in many of your purchasers reviews across platforms, yet as your reply indicates ‘it is what it is’. Your finance company certainly would not accept any excuses for non-payment, yet your customers don’t get to use their purchases when they should. I had to obtain the original temp tag, and driveway did not though it was all in the registration and tax fees paid. Missouri only does one tag, 30 days from the purchase date (4/16) so they expired 5/17. Again, as to you indicate, paperwork was not submitted until 5/2. See the process gap? Also, as stated above, my sons paperwork was turned around in two weeks, so the process your utilizing is not efficient - hence your inadequate leadership decisions in your processes as well as selection of vendors utilized. This issue did not occur with Carvana so it can be done, Driveway does not choose to create processes that work for their customers. It works for them only.
