i went to service my elantra at the same dealership that i purchased it, & was told that they didn't state the engine issues prior to my purchase . they continued to tell me i needed to get a specific ser i purchased it, & was told that they didn't state the engine issues prior to my purchase . they continued to tell me i needed to get a specific service (engine sludge removal) even though it was not my fault & that i had to PAY FOR IT , otherwise, the engine might be damaged & won't be covered by the warranty, nor the extended warranty that i pay for to this day ! the only advice they gave me was to get the oil changed more frequently than otherwise recommended . terrible service dept. & even worse sales dept. for selling me a faulty car. i want my money back ! Service took a little longer than portrayed. Was told 2 hrs or less vs 2.5 hrs on what it actually was. Nobody explained to me exactly what was done or what changes I’d see or come to expect.
