Recall notice, oil change, tire rotation Cesar was my service advisor and was very helpful. Responding to a “TSB” Service Bulletin This Mike Guzman. I brought my Elantra GT in as instructed by a “Service Bulletin” to have the Stainless Window Tirm inspected. I was surprised that t This Mike Guzman. I brought my Elantra GT in as instructed by a “Service Bulletin” to have the Stainless Window Tirm inspected. I was surprised that the missing piece of Window Trim was not “In Stock”. I understand that the Dealer would not have room for every part, but this missing part is related to a “Service Bulletin”. I will now have to make another trip to the Dealer to have the new piece of Window Trim installed. More
5 Star Service I was past due on my oil change and tire rotation so I brought my Tuscon in to the Downey dealership. Before I was even out of my car I was immediatel I was past due on my oil change and tire rotation so I brought my Tuscon in to the Downey dealership. Before I was even out of my car I was immediately greeted by Cesar. He was super friendly and through, which made me feel like I was in good hands. My car was in and out within an hour and they told me the topped off all my fluids without charge. I was happy with the experience since many dealerships don't provide that type of customer service. I will be coming back for all future auto needs. More

Poor Communication On my recent visit to Downey Hyundai Service, I came in for an oil change and for lights on my dash to be reviewed and reset. I was told my car was On my recent visit to Downey Hyundai Service, I came in for an oil change and for lights on my dash to be reviewed and reset. I was told my car was on recall and was unsafe to drive off the lot. I was given a rental from Hertz. This was on 3/1/19 and was told my car would be ready on Wednesday 3/6/19. My Service Rep, Enrique, did not follow up with me - I had to call in to confirm my car was going to be ready for pick up on Wednesday the 6th as this was something I needed to plan according for, being it will affect my job and needing to leave or take the day off. This should not be my responsibility to follow up, the account rep should have a follow up system on cars they expect to be complete. Once I spoke with him I found my car was going to need an extension until Friday, 3/8/19 - I asked why and only found there was a problem getting the part and it should be good on Friday. I said okay and asked to have them call Hertz for an extension on the rental. Again I called, having to be the one to follow up on a promise date made by the rep and was told the part should be in Friday and ready late Friday. I took the day off from work and additionally asked for an extension on the rental just in case. Enrique called my husband, Alex Friday night saying the car would be ready for Saturday morning at 10am GREAT! I dropped off the rental at Hertz at 11am and had a Lyft take me to Hyundai. Once there I was informed Enrique was off and to talk to Carlos. I ended up working with Romero who was surprised to see me - unknown to me he called my husband that morning to tell him the car wasn't ready...WHAT?! why would I be told it was the night before??? That is terrible communication beyond the fact my rep never gave me updates. Also, why not call me if my husband didn't respond. So again I had to get a rental until Monday, I wish I can say it got better from there, but it didn't. I AGAIN had to call Monday spoke to Carlos who said he would have to check on the status of my car...NO CALL BACK, I HAD TO CALL AGAIN! I spoke with a young girl, she was very nice, I expressed my concerns and she first said the car wouldn't be ready...luckily she called back and said it would be ready Monday night for pick up. All of this back and forth, no communication and I still had to put out $105 for an oil change - who by the way didn't update my next change sticker. I also was not given a receipt because the printer wouldn't work...yet another opportunity to receive some type of customer service but no one followed up with me...like the rest of my experience I will remind them I need this. As this goes without saying I WILL NOT be returning to Downy Hyundai for ANY of my servicing needs, More

Mr. Soto made some recommendations for further service and said he would be available to help me. I never felt pushed for a sale. I WILL BE BACK! More
