Disappointing After waiting several days to have the parts come in to have my vehicle serviced (which is understandable) I spent $1,000 dollars to replace a tire, After waiting several days to have the parts come in to have my vehicle serviced (which is understandable) I spent $1,000 dollars to replace a tire, a rim, and to have an alignment. Why do I spend so much at a dealership when I could go to my corner garage for less? For the price, I expect a higher level of service, an attention to detail that I wouldn't get anywhere else for my car. When I walked in to the service center, the service rep. told me to go over to the cashier to pay. when I went to the cashier, she sent me right back over to service agent for the paperwork. I was perplexed. Doesn't this scenario play out a hundred times a week? There shouldn't be a game of tennis with the customer being sent back and forth from the agent to the cashier, and the customer shouldn't have to play messenger between the two.....e.g..Me:.Um, the customer representative sent me here to pay. Cashier: I don't have the paper work. You have go to the customer service rep. Me:the customer serve rep sent me here. Cashier: you have to go back. Me to customer service rep: She sent me back to you. She said she doesn't have the paperwork. Customer service rep: ok I'll be with you in a minute. That was awkward, but tolerable. What was not tolerable, was looking forward to getting my car back, and having Downy Hyundai pull up a dirty vehicle. When I went to the customer service agent, and asked him if the protocol wasn't to wash a car before presenting it back to the client, he said that they didn't have the staff to do it. I was so surprised and shocked, I just said ok, and walked out the door angry. I drove my car right next door to the immediately adjacent car wash and washed it myself. Well, they certainly have the staff to do the repair, and to take one's money. What about the details and higher level of service on expects from a dealership? Did the Corona virus kill that too? More
