While everyone was courteous, it takes a long time to buy a car, even if your financing is preapproved. The issue I have is with finance. Despite walking in with preapprovals from Capital One and Westlake fi a car, even if your financing is preapproved. The issue I have is with finance. Despite walking in with preapprovals from Capital One and Westlake financial, the finance department went to get us a "better rate". That better rate shows up on my credit report as 7 inquires which will impact my credit. Word to the wise, only allow what you want to be inquired or you might get in this mess as well. More
