Great service. One hiccough. Cesar Maldonado was extreme helpful. I brought in my car for a normal service, and he pointed out there was an ECU update available as well. The servicing went smoot but when I picked up the car the impact sensor was going off. At first Cesar tried to say that it was because of some minor damage to the front end, which is possible, but the sensor was fine before the drop off. So he offered to take another look at it when I pointed it out. Turns out the sensor just need to be reprogrammed. The car was there overnight when I expected a few hours, but he and Downey Hyundai made sure it was taken care of right, got me rides back and fourth the whole time, and really turned what could have been an awful "why is my car taking so long?" visit into a good overall experience. great customer service I came in for a recall service and also was having some issues with my transmission. The service center was friendly, helpful and got everything cove I came in for a recall service and also was having some issues with my transmission. The service center was friendly, helpful and got everything covered under warranty. It took a little longer to get the work done than anticipated and I had to call to check in a few times, but I wasn't ever irritated about it since I had had such a great experience with everyone. They also offered to provide a free rental car since the work was taking longer. I will definitely be coming back. More

1st time @ Downey Hyundai I took my car in for service due to a recall notice I received about a seatbelt. Turns out that there was also a recall on the engine ( I received I took my car in for service due to a recall notice I received about a seatbelt. Turns out that there was also a recall on the engine ( I received the notice two days after my car was already at the dealer). When I called the service center I was given an appointment that same day, just an hour and a half after my initial call. Already I was impressed. Ramiro was professional and prompt. He texted me with any updates, and promptly answered my questions. I was provided with a rental car for the full seven days that my car was being worked on. I have a Sonata, they were originally going to give me a smaller vehicle but I said I needed a car as roomy as my own. I was upgraded to a 2019 Tucson @ no additional cost. Hyundai ended up replacing my engine at no cost to me, I feel like I have a new car! I was so impressed with the service at the center. I have previously gone to Both the Hyundai in Commerce and in Cerritos; both of those locations had a very long wait time to get an appointment, and I was unhappy with their service. I am staying with Downey Hyundai from now on . More
