I experienced the most embarrassing and disrespectful customer service o loop experience this afternoon. After nearly 15 years of doing business with Dover Honda I have had one of the most embarrassin customer service o loop experience this afternoon. After nearly 15 years of doing business with Dover Honda I have had one of the most embarrassing experiences at the Dover, NH Honda service center. As I prepared to leave with my car I proceeded to pay for the work rendered. St that moment I realized that I had forgotten my wallet at home. I asked the nice lady at the register if I could call her with my debit card information. All my personal information was in the system and that they should know I live just down the street. She politely agreed and provided me with her direct line. As I proceeded to leave the service Manager stopped me and told me that he could not allow me to leave the property without payment in full, using the analogy of you can’t go to Best Buy and leave with their merchandise without payment by just walking out. Basically, in front of other customers and fellow employees he called me a thief!! Extremely embarrassing!!! He made no initial attempts to help. As service manager you should helping customers not policing them! Fortunately, my wife was able to drive over with my wallet. More

I went in for an oil change on my 2018 Honda Fit and left having bought a new CR-V, my second, new vehicle from Dover Honda. Just like last time, it was a pleasure dealing with everyone at Dover Honda from having bought a new CR-V, my second, new vehicle from Dover Honda. Just like last time, it was a pleasure dealing with everyone at Dover Honda from the receptionist to Julie Richard in Sales and Steve in the Service Department. My questions were answered and the new features on my vehicle were explained to me. Easy peasy. Love my new car! :) More
Saved My Vacation - Best Bad Experience Ever Late Sunday afternoon (July 26), I had my battery light come on just past the tolls in Southern Maine on Route 95 towing my camper with my 2010 Honda Late Sunday afternoon (July 26), I had my battery light come on just past the tolls in Southern Maine on Route 95 towing my camper with my 2010 Honda Pilot. Not a good time for a car to fail you. I arrived safely at the campground in Wells around 6pm and the car died. I knew nothing would be open so I deferred my repair plan to Monday Morning. I called Dover Honda at 8am and spoke to Jeanine at the front desk who was very helpful. I explained what happened and asked if they could squeeze me in. She said yes and they could provide me a loaner if my car was not easily fixed. I had the vehicle towed in and arrived by 11:00am. Ken Crawford checked me in and said they would look at it as soon as possible. I was in the waiting room for about an hour. Jeanine came over and checked in with me to see how things were going. She offered to check on the status and gave me a high-level update. Ken gave me a full update shortly thereafter. Bad Alternator caused by an oil leak. He immediately got me a loaner and I was on the beach with my family by 1:30pm. As I was leaving the beach at 4:30pm, I got a call from Ken - The car was done! I picked it up later that night - Vacation Saved! What was a very bad situation turned into a VERY positive experience thanks to the people at Dover Honda. I could not be more pleased in the way they responded to me and got the job done in a timely manner. Randy King More

Horrible Dishonest Service I had two recent experiences that convinced me never to work with this dealership again. The first was early this year (2019) when I had new tires put I had two recent experiences that convinced me never to work with this dealership again. The first was early this year (2019) when I had new tires put on my 2013 Civic. I negotiated with the dealer for a reasonable price and had the installation done. Two month later one of my tires began to leak regularly. I return to the service station and asked them to investigate. They claimed have done an inspection and that there was no issue. They put air in the tire, and I was on my way. A few days later I was again struck with the same low pressure in the tire. They inspected again and this time determined that the tire was not properly installed, and the leak was due to this issue. They fixed the issue and then proceeded to charge me for the fix, even though they were responsible for the faulty install. They were not willing to stand by their service and were unconvinced to waive the fee even though they were responsible for the original bad installation. The second time I dealt with the service center was to get extended warranty service for a bad original paint job on my 2013 Civic. They were not my first choice, but I needed to go through a Honda dealer, and they are the most convenient location for me. I tried multiple times with multiple calls to the office to get the paperwork done to get the warranty work done. Three weeks later the warranty request still has not been submitted to Honda. The phone rep, Jeannine Belanger, was extremely rude and condescending on the phone with every call. Ken Crawford who took the original pictures never followed through with the process. James McIntyre was rude and dismissive every time I came in the shop to ask for help. Mike Segien couldn't be bothered to return a single call or follow up in any manner. The dealer is fine for a simple oil change, if you come in knowing what you need, but beyond that the team does not want to be bothered with any work that might not be profitable to them. They do shoddy work and inspections. They are very pushy on the upsell of unnecessary flushes and "recommended service" that anyone with a basic knowledge of automobiles knows is garbage. I would not recommend them in any fashion. More

I am no stranger to this dealership seeing my family has purchased three separate vehicles from here in the last 2 years. If you are going in for an oil change/tire rotation, you will be treated to a wonderful experience that will surprise you at how quickly and efficient they are. However, the was a TSB for my cars tires and needed to have them replaced under warranty for safety issues. I called on 1/28/19 asking about the TSB which Anthony could not find. He called back within 30 seconds stating there was. I made an appointment to have it looked at for the following Saturday. I was under the impression that the TSB was to be done then seeing I was quoted an hour for the service. I arrived at my appointment time and checked in. A half hour later, I was told that they didn’t have the tires in stock ( good customer service would have been to order them when I made the appointment) and I had to schedule another appointment to have them replaced. I did so for the following Saturday. I arrived for my second appointment on time and found a line. Kenny looked around me and asked the guy behind me if he could help him. I spoke up and asked if I was to be waited on. I explained the situation, gave my FOB, and proceeded to wait; and wait I did. Almost four hours later, I finally had my fob back in my hands. When I inquired multiple times to why it takes them almost four hours to do four tires, I was met with excuses instead of apologies. In a past life, I did the same work the technician did and never did it take me 4 hours to mount and balance four tires regardless of sidewall thickness or tire ratios. Never once was I extended any compensation for my time which would have shown myself they cared about my time almost as much as I do. At this point, I have come to the conclusion that I will continue to utilize Dover Honda for their efficient oil changes and nothing else. Also, when I decide to purchase another vehicle, I may decide to try another dealership that values my time almost as much as I do. More

The look the vehicle apart and could not fix this problem. They assisted placing me in a new 2019 vehicle for just about same cost on the least. I am happy with my new leases. Some changes to the vehicle that seem a little less quality than the 2017, but over all thrilled. More
