After a recent poor experience at another dealership and hearing good things about Douglas and Nick’s services, I came into Douglas dealership to test drive a 2012 GTI and to potentially make a deal. Nick hearing good things about Douglas and Nick’s services, I came into Douglas dealership to test drive a 2012 GTI and to potentially make a deal. Nick was very friendly at first and tried to find a compromise between my wife and I. Realizing that my wife wanted a family friendly car, Nick had us test drive Tiguan. Although it was nice, it was not what I came in for. After some thought, I returned to Nick asking to test drive a 2012 GTI. I spent a lot of time experiencing what VW had to offer, and I must admit I loved all the cars. I then spent two days in a row appraising my trade in cars at the dealership. I felt like I was getting nickel and dimed on the imperfections on the car. When he pulled up the Edmunds appraisal on the two cars, we gave them both "Fair" appraisals. The category for "Fair" means the car has some minor mechanical issues and could use a decent amount of conditioning before reselling. Edmunds reduces the price on the trade based off of the condition of the car. After looking at the two cars, Nick began to deduct hundreds from the Edmunds listing for every little ding or imperfection on the paint (something that would cost them less than $100 in repair). At first, and being naive to the whole car buying experience, I simply believed everything I was told. I was being reassured that the deal I was getting was "better than what the employees get." I paid a deposit (refundable based on driving the actual car) to put the car on order, but upon leaving, I still felt unsatisfied. I went back the next day to get a refund on my deposit. Nick was understandably unhappy with my decision, but his response was not very comforting saying that I’m throwing away the deal after spending half a day crunching the numbers. I said that I didn’t feel like I was getting a fair deal on my trade in and that I wanted my money back. Nick spoke to his sales manager, the sales manager came back saying that he was willing to renegotiate the deal. Clearly that means that I was able to get something better than what I was originally offered. To me this says that their business practices are not the most honest, and I simply wanted my deposit back. The sales manager was very gracious, but Nick was not, understandably so. Granted, I spent a lot of their time talking to them, and I understand that they have to make a profit, which is exactly why I was ready to buy extended warranties to pay them even more. I would still love to purchase a Volkswagen; it is just too bad that I can no longer purchase from Douglas motors, especially considering that my family has purchased seven cars from their dealership. After my experience at Douglas VW, I will now proceed more cautiously to the next dealership for the car that I want. More

Tito Delgado is a great asset to Douglas. I met Tito at Douglas vw when I was looking at a new jetta. Tito showed me the car, took me for a test drive and showed what was the best jetta for me. He gave m Douglas vw when I was looking at a new jetta. Tito showed me the car, took me for a test drive and showed what was the best jetta for me. He gave me lease prices and told me that if I wanted to think about and talk to my husband to then call me back the next day to make a decision. I left the dealership and I felt great, no added pressure trying to make me buy at that minute. After talking to my husband I went back and made the deal... The Jetta has been great and price has been even better... Thanks Tito and thank you Douglas... More

I ran into Isaac, and he seemed overly cheerful at first, but as things went along I could see he was a genuinely friendly person who truly wanted to help me find the right car for ME. He took me from car to car until I found the Touareg and now I have a car with enough space for the kids and a plush interior with lots of great features. Everyone in the dealership was wonderful and I'd recommend Douglas VW & Isaac to anyone looking for a car. More

The second time, I purchased a 2010 Jeep Compass after getting little to no help from the sales man or dealership, but was in a crunch for time. At douglas, from the time I walked in to the dealership till I signed the papers I did not get anything but the best service. The sales manager spoke to me the first day, and called to follow up, as well as Vlad, to make sure that everything was going smoothly. Vlad was able to give me the best advice on what type of vehicle I was looking for. I received a great price on my Used 2011 Jetta, that I Love! Besides Volkswagon having a great service and maintainance warranty, the service I received at douglas was nothing less then fantastic customer service. I recommend anyone looking to buy a car to go to Douglas! More

In the beginning of the month I was comparing a Vw cc and Nissan maxima. But when I went to Douglas I met tito delgado there, and he showed me why cc was the way to go, from the performance to artery, style, and fuel economy. He knew the product very well but most importantly is that he knew the competition. Long story short now I'm driving a cc and loving every minute of it. Thanks tito for the experience of buying a great car from a great dealer. More
