I needed to work with someone I could trust, and Jeremy maintained my trust and effectively balanced my needs with those of the dealership. There were no financial surprises. I called him and let me know we were coming in 30 minutes and he said he was headed out to Dunkin Donuts in a few and asked if we wanted anything. I let him know what we wanted and by the time we got there, he had it ready for us. So, we worked the deal entirely over the phone and via text message. I never even had to come to the dealership until my new car was ready for delivery. Numbers were the same as we discussed, no inflated figures once we were there ready to sign up. Trust me as a salesman myself, this is very important! I’ve closed many deals from my own customers going to other dealerships and the numbers weren’t as stated when they got there. Honesty goes a long way! Jeremy Gutierrez was UPFRONT and HONEST! A quality lost these days. Upon arrival, the 2014 Jetta we discussed was 2 cars away from the front door. I told Jeremy that my father was in his 70s so he brought it as close as possible so my father wouldn’t have to walk too far. He explained the features and demonstrated several times so that my father would understand it. Jeremy called the insurance company for us and set it up for us. I was in and out with the new car in an 1 ½! If you are tired of the games, being lied to just to get you into the door, and/or intimidated by car buying process, DON’T! We just completed an exceptional experience at Douglas VW where we leased a 2014 Passat from Douglas VW with Vlad as our sales representative. This was our second VW from Douglas (our son leased a VW Beet where we leased a 2014 Passat from Douglas VW with Vlad as our sales representative. This was our second VW from Douglas (our son leased a VW Beetle a few months ago), and with both experiences we found all the personnel at Douglas to be friendly, helpful, and extremely professional. Cannot say enough good things about Vlad. He is professional, very knowledgeable about the product line, and worked with us to find the right model type and color for our needs. We never felt pressured. It was not a problem to take test drives in both of the models we were considering (even after a snow storm, where the cars had to be cleaned off and prepped for our drive). We would highly recommend Vlad as a sales representative who is there from start to finish for you. Vlad worked with us and Chris, the finance manager, to get the type of lease structure we wanted….and did this quickly, without the endless waits that are so common at other dealerships. Chris was great…efficient and clear about all the paperwork. The process was so easy and pleasant that we decided to lease a second 2014 Passat SE a few days later.
