Great Experience! I recently purchased my 2011 EX35 Great Experience! I recently purchased my 2011 EX35 from Aaron Goodwin at Douglas Infiniti & have to say, this was the most pleasant experience I have ever had buying a car. They didn`t have the color that I wanted at the dealership, but Aaron assured me that they could get it from another dealer fairly quick. I also had a car to trade & after doing my research on Edmunds, I felt they were a little low in the value. The Sales Mgr Ed English sat down & explained to me exactly how he arrived at the price for my car....then actually, it made sense & seemed quite fair. I have never purchased a car without seeing it first, but Aaron made me feel very comfortable & resolved any concerns that I had. He also reassured me that if for any reason I didn`t like the EX that they brought in for me, my deposit was refundable. The Managers, Ed & Jamie, really did a wonderful job as I am now the proud owner of a 2011 EX35. I will recommend Douglas Infiniti to all of my friends. More
While shopping for a G37x I priced out every dealer in New Jersey. I don't live local to Douglas Infiniti but I sent in a price request anyway. I recieed an email and a phone call right after my price i New Jersey. I don't live local to Douglas Infiniti but I sent in a price request anyway. I recieed an email and a phone call right after my price inquiry. The representative on the phone asked me questions about the car and how I would like it configured. He told me he would build the vehicle and check the availability of it. Less then an hour later I got a call back with a price. I couldn't get to the dealership for several days but the told me it wouldn't be a problem. When I got there (almost a week later) my G37x was waiting for me. I met my salesmen Gill. He was helpfull and very patient with me as he went over the vehicle from top to bottom. The paper work on the car was exactly what was described to me over the telephone and I would recomend Douglas Infiniti to anyone looking for a new Vehicle. More
Douglas Infiniti has been one of the best car dealerships I have ever dealt with. My sales person Ray was not only a pleasure to talk with, but was always honest and never made me feel pressured into buying I have ever dealt with. My sales person Ray was not only a pleasure to talk with, but was always honest and never made me feel pressured into buying anything I didn't want. They gave me one of the best prices for a brand new G37x and let me take as much time (and as many test drives) as I wanted just to be sure I was going to be satisfied before making my purchase. A few weeks earlier, I spent a good amount of time researching both about the vehicle I was interested in and how to handle new car negotiations. Before I entered Douglas Infiniti, I was expecting hours of stressful negotiation and trickery. (Possibly due to past experiences at the many other car dealers out there) But to my complete surprise, thats not what happened here. Conversation was calm and pleasureful, and right off the bat I had a price that beat the other local dealers! I will definitely be considering Douglas Infiniti again for future purchases. More
The truth is "There are honest Dealers and honest Salesmen in the world" you just have to go to Douglas to find them. I don't work for these people and they're not giving me anything to write this bu Salesmen in the world" you just have to go to Douglas to find them. I don't work for these people and they're not giving me anything to write this but it needs to be in print somewhere so here goes: I find a used Acura CS with my mechanic by my side at Douglas to replace my Acura Integra but I don't have a lot to spend. I meet with Salesman Steve Sokol and after a few phone calls we came to a number I could actually afford. Sounds good but you and I both know there has to be a hitch...right? So I'm still waiting for the "shoe to drop" and he calls back to arrange a time when I can come up and finalize the deal. I get to the dealership and he tells me "it'll be a few minutes because the're detailing the car to get it ready"...I thought when I test drove the car it was very clean but what the heck, I'll go for that. So now we sit down and he pulls out the contract and get this...it's exactually as we discussed! Whats going on? Where's the fine print? The bait and switch? The "oops I forgot to tell you" clause? I'm now walking around thinking maybe I bought a lemon or something so I call my mechanic and ask him again if he was right about the condition of the car. He tells me I was buying a great car, in great shape and even he couldn't believe the price I was paying. It does'nt end there. I stop back two weeks later to pick up my plates and inside the packet is a check. You heard right...a rebate check from Douglas for overpayment of motor vehicle fees! When's the last time you picked up your plates anywhere and got more than just a handshake? They could have easily kept the money but they didn't. They were honest and returned it back to me. Bottom line...If you had a bad experience at this dealership than it must have been an unfortunate set of circumstances that caused the issue. I cannot say enough good thing about the dealership and its employes. My thanks go out to Steven Sokol and the rest of the staff at Douglas. More
I started my odyssey for a g37 convertible in Feb.-March 2010 and finally bought it April 28, 2010. I talked to at least 20-25 Infiniti dealerships up and down the East Coast. I wound up buying from the f 2010 and finally bought it April 28, 2010. I talked to at least 20-25 Infiniti dealerships up and down the East Coast. I wound up buying from the first place I visited. I also have Porsche and my experience with Inskip in Rhode Island was wonderful. I don't know if it is the NY tri-state thing or an Infiniti thing but I'm jaded towards Infiniti dealerships at this point. Ray, however, was completely honest and many thanks to him. I thought he would be pissed at me since I was always triple-checking everything he said. And ordered a car thru a diff dealership but it was water under the bridge. More

I had my initial test drive with this dealership. The salesperson could not give me the right money factor, or residual value. Those numbers should be the same for all dealerships since they all use the salesperson could not give me the right money factor, or residual value. Those numbers should be the same for all dealerships since they all use the same bank. He also did not quote me the lowest selling price or monthly payment. I was able to get a lower quote from another website, and they did agree to honor that price. I did not lease the car from them at the end simply because they couldn't be upfront with me in the beginning. They even quoted me a ridiculously high monthly payment. More
I brought my g35 coupe to Douglas because the car was shaking a little bit at high speeds. When they changed the rotors (and not the pads), the car began to squeak during braking. When I returned to have shaking a little bit at high speeds. When they changed the rotors (and not the pads), the car began to squeak during braking. When I returned to have it serviced, they told me they would not change the pads and simply resurfaced the rotors again. Then, they returned the car to me with the e-brake not properly adjusted and not holding the weight of the car. When I brought it back the third time, due to more squeaking and trouble braking, they resurfaced the rotors and gave it back to me with the e-brake still not adjusted. On the way home, my brakes began to squeak and then to SMOKE. I brought it back in that day and they told me that nothing was wrong and that water had gotten onto the rotors when they washed it(which they did not do, because the car was covered in pollen). Instead of changing the pads and rotors on the fifth visit, they simply "deglazed" the rotors to minimize squeaking and told me that there was nothing they could do for that problem. I then took the car to Ray Catena in Edison, and they changed the rotors and pads, and adjusted the brakes properly. This took a few hours and I had the car back, with no problems and evern washed!!! I will never take my car to Douglas Infiniti again. The sales people, especially Ronnie Diaz, were very helpful and gave me a great deal on the car(purchased new with 36,000 warranty). Please don't take your car there. Even with a factory warranty they were unwilling to do required maintenence and were not at all pofessional or helpful. Thanks for reading More

I would like to share with you how I dissatisfied with your Douglas Infiniti retailer in Summit, NJ. Before christmas last year, I went to Douglas Infiniti to lease FX35 AWD. They quoted me a price for $5 your Douglas Infiniti retailer in Summit, NJ. Before christmas last year, I went to Douglas Infiniti to lease FX35 AWD. They quoted me a price for $510 per month 24months lease, 24000 miles and out pocket $2500 for Touring, Technology, Handsfree package with chrome pillars included. I was looking for Black(outside)/wheat(inside) color combination. They told me that they did not have this color in stock, but they would get one for me either from another dealer or worst case put a new order to Infiniti factory. In that case, the car would be delivered latest Jan 15. The dealer told me that if I deposited $1000, he said he could lock the lease rate $510. I gave a deposit and signed the preliminary contract. During next two three weeks after the sales person Ray Pierce never made a one single phone call to me about the status of the car. Each time, I kept calling the sales person to ask whether they locate the car locally or not. After two-three phone calls I made they told me that they could not locate a car for me locally. It was very annoying the sales person seem like he did not care to call me to give the updated info about the car. Finally, I called the sales manager, he told me that sarcastically, it would be better for them if I don't pick up the car because he is loosing money on the deal. He sounded like he was joking but anyway, he said the car should arrive the dealer to mid January. I waited until mid january, until that time the sales person still did not call me at all. I kept calling them asking what is the status of the car. On January 18th, he told me the car came to Newark port. They could not get proper paperwork to be completed by custom. He promised the 3rd week of January, the car should be delivered to me. The car never delivered to the dealer until Feb. 15th. During this time, I had to call the sales person each time to ask him what is going on. He kept telling me that he could not control the custom. Finally, he called me that I should call my insurance company give them the vin # of the car and get car insured before pick up. I did called them and took care of it. The day of the delivery, the sales person called me back and told me that we have a problem. He said we couldn't able to give the $510 anymore, he said the current program changed and he could not able to hold same price anymore. I reminded him that when I gave him deposit, he told me that he could lock that rate. He said it took way too long to deliver this car and the new program could not allow him to give same rate. I told him "This is not my problem". I wanted to have my car right away at christmas time not two months later with way too higher rate. He said he could not do anything else "take it or leave it". I asked is this the way Infiniti value their customers???. He answered when it comes to number he could not do it. I understand that all comes downs to numbers basically the circumstances what the customer goes through does not matter. I waited almost two months for nothing. I had huge disappointment with the dealer. The sales person was annoying the promises that he made, he could not make it. He did not even apologize about the situation. They need to understand what is the customer value? They had no idea, they only look at numbers $$$$. More
