Drove a little out of the way, but it was well Worth it. My daughter and I live about 55-60 miles east of Dorsett Mitsubishi in Terre Haute. We had visited a couple of the dealerships around us and not been My daughter and I live about 55-60 miles east of Dorsett Mitsubishi in Terre Haute. We had visited a couple of the dealerships around us and not been happy with the “approach” of some of the sales folks. After looking on line for other dealerships we decided to take a drive to Terre Haute to check out an Outlander that the dealership. (I must confess I usually go to dealerships sometimes on Sundays to avoid confrontations with salespeople). Anyway, I pulled into the dealership and started looking for the vehicle I had researched,and was having a little trouble finding it. Ernie came out and asked if I needed some assistance and what he could do to help. His demeanor was great, I have had previous experiences where I felt “pushed” or slightly intimidated and usually just left the dealership. Ernie was none of this. I think he realized that I was more of a “data and research “ individual and was able to communicate on this level. He also “offered” to get me any info I needed vs telling me what he thought I needed to know. Any info that he didn’t have or know ,he would get or put me in contact with someone who did. I told him I would have to think on it and he was ok with that. Before I left he made a point to introduce me to Tony Parker who thanked us for stopping by. My daughter and I talked about the car and the dealership on our way home and she too was impressed that the dealership was not the” pushy type”. She liked the vehicle and the dealership culture too. Note: we also drove another vehicle while we were at the dealership and Ernie helped summarize the pros and cons . In the end we bought the Mitsubishi Outlander and Ernie talked us through all the features, introduced us to service dept and others at the dealership. Great experience and non intimidating. They have 4 dealerships and I look forward to doing business with them in the future when I replace my truck. Duane More
