Old Car Totaled I have lost two Ford Focuses in car accidents where they have been totaled by wreckless drivers. These were very bad accidents, and the Focus has kept me safe both times. I worked with Mark and Jim and they helped get me back into a lightly used Focus! It was very stressful trying to find something decent within the price range of the settlement check. Mark and Jim were very helpful and patient with me in my search for another car. They gave me a great deal on my new (to me) car. It was my first experience buying a car from a dealership. In the past I have been reluctant to buy from dealerships (and haven't) because I don't like the pressure of being bombarded by salespeople who are trying to sell me things I don't want. The folks at Donnell Ford took good care of me. In my search throughout 4 dealerships in the area, they were the only ones who treated with respect as a person, showing concern for me after my accident, and not jumping straight to numbers. They were considerate of my driving anxiety, and Jim took time to ride with me on a test drive. Jim and Mark were super flexible with me since I was in a bit of a time crunch to get a car. They had the Focus detailed, and looking brand new. Jeff helped me out with the financial paperwork. He explained everything clearly to me and answered all of my questions. Overall, I had a great experience. I am convinced that I have just purchased the best used car for my money! In sum, I would describe Mark, Jim, and Jeff as being considerate, friendly, helpful, flexible, respectful, and caring. They helped to lift the huge stress of finding a not only decent, but wonderful car after my accident. I will most certainly continue business at Donnell Ford here in Salem.
