I’m impressed! This is my first car bought brand new and my experience has been phenomenal. My salesman Fredy Martin was friendly, accommodating, and not intimidatin This is my first car bought brand new and my experience has been phenomenal. My salesman Fredy Martin was friendly, accommodating, and not intimidating at all! Throughout negotiating process, I didn’t hear him once talk or mention about his profit, commissions or family situation. There are salesmen I have met before who would straight up tell you after you counteroffer that he’s not making money or he has a family with three kids. Fredy, instead, asked me about the price I’m comfortable at and he’s working hard to try to get it down to that price, of course it has to be reasonable and profittable for the dealership as well. I could take as much time to look at the cars, test drive them ( I did 3 times and he asked if i wanted to test drive again if it helps with decision making ) , when we finally got the car we want with price we came to agreement with, both parties were happy. This is what negotiation should feel like. The process was 6 hour long, however. So he noticed we were hungry as we were grabbing a drink and some snack at the snack station, he offered to pay for us. Everybody at Don McGill was very nice during our visit and they are professional as well. We had a good time. More
