NEW Sequoia!!! I purchased a 2018 Sequoia on 11 Oct 2018 and I worked with John Chun (sales manager) and Jay Pedraza (salesman). We came from San Antonio and when w I purchased a 2018 Sequoia on 11 Oct 2018 and I worked with John Chun (sales manager) and Jay Pedraza (salesman). We came from San Antonio and when we arrived, we inspected the vehicle and noticed that the window tint and clear bra was not installed correctly. We made John and Jay aware of the issues and Jay took the vehicle to the shop so they could work on it. After finishing the paperwork in finance, we waited another 2.5 hours for the window tint and the clear bra to get fixed. When they brought the vehicle back, the window tint was corrected and the clear bra was not. I told Jay that I would call him to schedule to return and have the clear bra fixed. I called Jay 3 times the following day and he wouldn't answer my calls or return my call. I sent Jay a text and he responded that he was busy and would call me later. He never called. I also called John Chun, the sales manager, a few times and he wouldn't answer or return my calls. I called to the service department and explained the situation to Lee and he scheduled for me to return on 26 Oct 2018. After I arrived on the 26th, I saw Jay, the salesman, and asked him why he didn't return my calls. He acted as if he didn't know who I was after selling me a $68,000+ vehicle 2 weeks prior. I didn't feel valued as a customer and I decided it was best to just deal with the GM at that point. I went to the GM's office (Todd TeSelle) and spoke with him, at length, about the entire situation. At this point, things changed dramatically, for the better. He listened to all of my concerns and addressed most of them on the spot. He referred me to the delivery manager Flame Chin-Aleong. Flame addressed the remaining issues to my satisfaction. I would like to mention two employees that also contributed to making this purchase a great experience: Kathy Furrer and Brandi. Kathy and Brandi were friendly, helpful, and provided assistance with our tags and registration. Customer service is paramount to the success of a business and also in keeping and gaining new customers. I appreciate Todd TeSelle (GM) for taking the time to listen to me and also for making things right. I am a satisfied customer and look forward to future purchases with Don McGill. More
Reliable, though I have encountered surprising delays. I got the certified car I needed, but have encountered problems with the screen, where the radio, phone apps, etc.are. First, I was told a part would be ordered, but 3 weeks later, I was informed that the faulty part would be fixed right at the shop; then, the next thing I hear is that they found the radio app needed to be replaced. In all, the whole screen will be ordered and replaced; hopefully, this part will arrive by next week. The sales persons and tech have been fine, explaining and apologizing, but the thing I found quite unusual is that if the car was CERTIFIED, how come the screen was faulty? I will leave this for DonMcGill TOYOTA to thoroughly check out every Certified car avoiding useless delaysfor us your loyal customers. More
