I truly will say my saleman Ken Westbrook was a jewel of a saleman. He was very profressional and very nice. He knew what he was doing and helped me so much. I will save Ken turn over and backwards to help me and for me to have the car I wanted. I am very pleased and happy with my new 2014 RAV 4 LE. Ken was so informed with the car in how it works, that it made me feel very calm. Saturday when I drove off in my new car. It felt like I had been driving it for awhile and it is because Ken took the time to set up everything in the car for me. All salepeople in Houston need lessons from Ken Westbrook. More

Dont' take your car here for vehicle repairs. They will do 80% of the work, damage your vehicle, and then claim it's supposed to be that way. I'm now looking at the reveiws trying to figure out how I will do 80% of the work, damage your vehicle, and then claim it's supposed to be that way. I'm now looking at the reveiws trying to figure out how I can get my vehicle away from them and to another more reputable body shop. And before anyone thinks my reveiw too harsh, then repaired my vehicle. Replaced the front bumper. I can remove the bumper with my pinky. Its a Ford Truck. I don't think it would have passed a safety inspection if you could remove exterior paneling with just your pinky. - A few hours after I posted the above reveiw they did in fact contact me to let me know they are replacing the mounts, then bumper and fixing my paint issues now. I do my best to rate fairly so I will be honest here. They did say they would comp the rental I have until they are finished. Since they told Allstate they were done, they are no longer paying for the rental. I will update this as the work is finished. (update below.) More
I was at the dealership yesterday to sell my car after getting an offer from Auto-trader. While there I worked with John Loving and Chris Rhodes. Their service and attitudes was fantastic. They looked getting an offer from Auto-trader. While there I worked with John Loving and Chris Rhodes. Their service and attitudes was fantastic. They looked over my car and gave me a very fair offer. Their waiting area was large and had free drinks available. I highly recommend Don McGill Toyota for a new car or used and John Loving and Chris Rhodes are both wonderful making me feel comfortable. I will be returning for more car needs!! More
We buy a new car every 10 years or so. Don McGill was the coolest experience ever with a Dealership. AA let us drive the Prius and the wife got a good chance to validate her decision. The kid was alrea the coolest experience ever with a Dealership. AA let us drive the Prius and the wife got a good chance to validate her decision. The kid was already sold on the car and I just do as I'm told. So in my book, its about pleasing the ladies. The Don McGill family stepped up and hit a homerun. Thx for being cool and making the car buying experience painless. More
I had excellent service from the staff at Don McGill. They did everything in their power to make the experience as smooth as possible and I appreciate all of the effort they put into my sale. This place will add on additional unexplained fees at the end of the buying process. When questioned about these fees, a so called manager - Hi Todd - spews crap about window etching stuff that was not as end of the buying process. When questioned about these fees, a so called manager - Hi Todd - spews crap about window etching stuff that was not asked for and is not required by the state or insurance companies. Then he cries about losing any profit in the sale by removing bogus fees that should not have been there in the first place. This could have been a very good car buying experience, which I would really expect from Toyota as compared to Dodge or Ford, but they had to ruin it with sleezy sales tactics and rude "holier than thou" managers which are better suited to selling Kirby vacuums door to door than cars -yeah Todd, Im talking about you. I visited the dealership on Saturday December 08, 2012 to look for a new 2013 Highlander Limited and if possible used 2011 Highlander Limited that was in your lot. On my arrival the sales person greeted look for a new 2013 Highlander Limited and if possible used 2011 Highlander Limited that was in your lot. On my arrival the sales person greeted me and I told him what I was here for. He showed me the cars and took me inside. He got my license to make a copy so that I can test drive the cars. He got the D/L copy, car keys and a “quote” from inside (read “sales manager”) for the 2011 Highlander… Without even test driving the cars (either new or 2011 model) he started discussing the price on the 2011 Highlander. He gave me the quote and told me that the car would cost $35,XXX + TTL… I was taken aback by that statement. He told me that that’s the final price and there is not room for negotiation. First of all it didn’t make sense to me as I am in the market now searching for new as well as used cars, and I have a quote from one other dealership in Houston for a 2013 highlander limited for a lower price than what he showed me. I showed him the quote and he was trying to prove it’s a fake estimate from the other dealership. I had been to the other dealerships and I am convinced that the quote for new highlander that I got from other dealership is real and not fake. Ok, I shall consider this as a sale person’s gimmickry… Now on to the serious stuff… I told him that I saw the price for the 2011 Highlander quoted online was $31,971 and how come you increased the priced now? “It’s not $100 or $200 I am talking about, its $4000… How can you guys increase it…? This is ridiculous…" He was taken aback by my statement and he started justifying his action stating that he went and told sales manager that I am a customer who drove into the dealership and didn’t see the online price. I was taken aback by that statement… He also mentioned that 90% people do not check the price online and this is how dealer makes the profit… Ridiculous… Whichever dealership I have been to, they would say “Mr. Rahul, the MSRP on this car is $35,XXX, but we have this listed for $31,971…” irrespective if a person randomly drove in or got there after seeing the internet pricing… I feel that this is not the way customers should be treated… How will a customer ever come over to the dealership if statements like this are made…? I will NEVER EVER go to dealer who does these tricks with the car price and try to justify their actions based on stupid reasoning. This is like cheating customers and questioning their integrity. The sales person made a statement “Don McGill Toyota has a 5 star rating due to customer satisfaction and customer service….” I think dealers like this are in “self-service” and not “customer service”. Or else why would they go to such great trouble in scheming up manipulative advertising and sales tricks to get customers in the door so they can work their "customer service" system selling techniques on them? I was with my wife and we were irritated, disgusted and feeling awkward to be in your dealership and walked off. Forget the law, majority of car consumers demand wish fairness in car sales. I understand that at the end of the day people run business to make profit, but that should not be by playing unfair games like what I had mentioned. More
