Mark and I have been dealing for about 15 years. I always ask for Mark. He is always courteous and friendly, as one would expect. But he also adds a more personal touch which is greatly appreciated. Our family has bought many from Don Jacobs. The employees and Steve are people we trust very much. Over the years we have used all their departments including the body shop! My wife bought a car from DJ Toyota and everything was fine… that was in 2004. In 2008 the car had a problem with the Traction Control, VSC & Check Engine light coming on and causing the traction and s fine… that was in 2004. In 2008 the car had a problem with the Traction Control, VSC & Check Engine light coming on and causing the traction and stability controls to go offline. It turned out it was a sensor somewhere in the exhaust system. It was replaced and everything was good again. About a year and an half ago the same thing begun to happen. We kept bringing it in but the light would go out before we were able to get to them. So nothing could be done. Today Jan 12, 2012; it happened and I took it in. They told me I would have to come back at 5pm because that's the soonest they could look at it. No problem... well until... I was informed I would have to pay $90 for the diagnostic. They never charged us before and now $90 just to find out what it is... Outrageous! Never have we been charged for this in the last year and a half... Did they even do anything when we brought it in those other times? Maybe not, because when my wife bought the car they failed to install the cabin air filter... not to mention when I ask them to tighten one of the heat shields on the engine... they claimed they couldn't find anything wrong when I even know which one is rattling. There's more. but I don't want to go into it now. This is already too long and no one will read it all. If you've made it this far, thank you for listening. These dealerships need to understand that if they don't take care of their customers, they shouldn't have any. More
My company buys all of its cars from this dealership and has for over 5 years now. Even though we purchase exclusively from them, they still treat us poorly. We have taken cars back multiple times for the has for over 5 years now. Even though we purchase exclusively from them, they still treat us poorly. We have taken cars back multiple times for the same problem and they are not very helpful. They do nothing extra for us and they even return our cars (avalons and camrys) in worse shape (dirtier) then when we turn them in. We will discontinue our business with them after my last experience. I guess they did not know or care I was the person that could make that happen. More
