This was my wife and I's first car purchase. We had a general idea of what we wanted, communicated that clearly, and were led to cars that fit our criteria. You kind of expect to be upsold in this type of situation, but we were really only shown a few cars above our price range, with all the plus/minus features explained clearly after we told Brian what was important to us in a car. He was also really honest about the differences between a 2009 and 2010 Corolla (his response was: "Nothing, really."). Once we had decided on the car (a 2009 Toyota Corolla), we started talking final price and indicated we wanted to sleep on it before buying. That prompted the sales manager to come over and, quite literally, ask how much we were willing to put down now and how much we wanted to pay each month. Within 5 minutes he came back with a very suitable price. We were in control of the situation the whole time, and it was very clear throughout the whole buying process that was their intended course of action. Everything was explained clearly, and even when my wife had a small hiccup with her ID check (her name wasn't "officially" changed yet, so somehow it got red-flagged), the head of finance was funny and engaging about it. All in all, we'll be up for another car purchase within the next 5 years, and I would absolutely come back here and recommend it to anyone just based on their low pressure tactics alone. The fact that the price was dropped without serious negotiation was just icing on the cake. More

I visited Don Jabcobs three times trying to decide of buying a minivan. My sales person, Edwin Hernandez kept in constant contact with me and worked with me closely. He is a consumate professional who kept me abreast of the situation. After talking with my mechanic I decided to purchase the van. The van was clean and is a beautiful looking car with 98,000 miles. After test driving it for the third time, I requested that they do a front end alignment (pulling to the right) and to examine the breaks. They guranteed that they would take care of them. I pick up the car on Monday so we shall see. They were fair with me and gave me a good price on my trade in. I did some searches on line and got the value of my car and they met my expectations. My wife drives a Toyota Corrolla and will only purchase a Toyota. In the spring, myyt wife will be getting either a new Corolla or a Camry and Don Jacobs TOyota will be my first stop.
