My recommendation comes with some words of caution. First the good. We went to the dealer in unusual circumstances. Our vehicle had been wrecked and declared a total loss, but our insurance company First the good. We went to the dealer in unusual circumstances. Our vehicle had been wrecked and declared a total loss, but our insurance company was being slow to pay damages. The dealership handled the situation very fairly and was held the vehicle we were purchasing for eleven days. The next positive was our salesman. Very likeable and sensitive to our situation. The first negative happened when were about to finance the new vehicle and pick it up. We waited over two hours for a finance person to do the paperwork for the loan. We actually left the dealership and took an uber home out of frustration. Second, we arranged a second pick up date and made an appointment with the finance person. That part went well, helped by the fact that our insurance payment had arrived so no need for the loan. Unfortunately, no one had checked on the car to see if it was ready. In fairness it probably was the day of the first pick up attempt, but had sat under a tree in the interim and was quite dirty. Additionally the phone app we uploaded showed the vehicle was not fully fueled and was low on tire pressures. So another very long delay. Finally it was discovered on giving us "key" that one fob was missing. A five star dealer would have caught all those things before our afternoon arrival. More
