Hello Mr. Kuss - Thank you for your recent vehicle service visit to the Don Hewlett Chevrolet service department. We're sorry to learn from your comments that your 127,000 mile vehicle developed transmission issues shortly after being serviced. Upon further inspection it was found that an internal trani component failed sending metal fragments throughout the system. While we will agree with you that the timing of this failure stinks, there is no way for a basic transmission fluid flush service to cause this type of failure. You are smart to follow the GM recommended maintenance schedule and in doing so you have undoubtedly extended the life of your 2016 Tahoe. In our opinion, this component failure was unavoidable and unfortunately your vehicle is now well beyond any GM factory warranties. As your local dealership, we want to recognize our longstanding relationship by helping with the cost of the needed repairs. We hope you can appreciate these significant discounts and come to realize that the dealership has indeed stepped up to help. The good news is that the needed repairs are now complete and the vehicle is ready for pick up.
