I had no issues with my 2015 GMC Sierra and wanted to do the routine maintenance to keep it running the same since it is not a good time to buy a new truck.Took it to Don Hewlett Chevrolet Georgetown,TX for the routine maintenance to keep it running the same since it is not a good time to buy a new truck.Took it to Don Hewlett Chevrolet Georgetown,TX for oil change,tire rotation, and transmission fluid change.Transmission went out 24 hours later. I think it was overfilled. No way anyone will convince me they are not at fault.I was called a liar and it all went south from there. This is my 4th GM truck since 1991.The same parts they say are bad were already replaced before under the power train warranty. Refused to replace the transmission at that time but now that I am paying for it that is what is needed for $5200. I was sure GM would help out a loyal customer but I was way wrong.Getting my truck away from Hewlett and it is my last GM truck.It would have been less costly for Hewlett just to stand up and make it right. More

The workorder for my car was entered at 11:09 am. The car was ready at 12:42 PM...an hour and 45 minutes to get an oil change! The service rep actually came out to tell me that they "hadn't forgotten me", which means that they knew that they were late, and it had nothing to do with the work....I believe they simply missed my car! Add to that the fact that it cost $115 to change my engine and cabin filters ($40 MORE than it cost to change my oil, filter, rotate my tires, 48 point inspection, etc.)! My checkout experience was equally "mediocre". Not my best experience with Don Hewlett. More
I'm MAD! ! I'm angry and frustrated and completely confused by the treatment I've received from Don Hewlett Chevrolet over the past 9 or so months. Bought a t ! I'm angry and frustrated and completely confused by the treatment I've received from Don Hewlett Chevrolet over the past 9 or so months. Bought a truck in August (2020) ... Sold it the following March (2021) to another dealership. realized I needed to get a refund on my extended warranty on my truck. Called Hewlett and received several arguments before being rudely told to send an email request (from the Financial Department... be VERY wary!! You cannot trust them!!) I wrote several emails... Called and left lots of voicemail...and nothing but Silence!!! After a few months of frustrating calls I went in to the dealership and talked to another Finance person who promised to fix things. She made a statement that its rare for people to ask for a refund so I asked "What happens to the money then?" Her reply? "Oh, we just keep it" What??? Was told she would take care of it but a mistake on the odometer (on their part) would delay things. Was told to call back in a day. I did. No reply. Sent emails to her... No reply. What in the xxxx is going on at this "supposedly reputable" dealership where they blatantly ignore calls, ignore emails and LIE to their customers?!?!?!?! Oh, and the worst part.... They don't give refunds that are clearly due!!! Recently I called again(its been almost a year) specifically for the Sales Manager, and then the General Manager. NO STINKING REPLY!?!? REALLY!?!? So maybe I didn't buy the most expensive truck on the lot and maybe they don't think my $3600+ is worth the trouble of a refund but that is a lot of money to me....particularly when its My hard earned money they have kept away from me!!!??? WHY?? Do they really need to steal from their customers??? Recently a trustworthy finance guy at another dealership said he processes Warranty refunds regularly and they shouldn't take more than 3 to 4 weeks to process... Usually less. So why is The Don Hewlett, dealership of wealthy Georgetown, still holding out!?!? Hey Don... Give me MY Money!! Return phone calls and Emails and stop treating your customers like CRAP! More
