03/2023 UPDATE: The 2023 Chevrolet Malibu I purchased on 01/10/2023 is now in need of service. To say I am extremely disappointed is an understatement. I didn’t care to purchase a brand new car. I showed up with multiple stock numbers for USED vehicles but was ultimately persuaded to purchase new. It made sense since I have three young c0hildren anwant to deal with repairs and as my sales person stated “a good and reliable vehicle”. Not even two months later and I am having issues with the vehicle. I was fine with taking my vehicle in to be serviced but when I was told that I needed to make transportation arrangements while they are diagnosing and repairing, it became an issue. I have now been working with Nathaniel, Howard, and Garret on a solution, but for whatever reason, I am just being told daily (since Tuesday 03/07) that things are “still in the works” with no further explanation and only because I am the one reaching out for an update. The energy I got on Tuesday went in person was so different than the energy I got in January. I am so discouraged and disappointed. The offer was to Uber me to and from the dealership but my kids all go to school and I need to get to work, this is not a solution for me. I referred my mother in law and the same week I bought my car, she bought a used car. She is ALSO having to make arrangements to take her vehicle in for repairs AS WELL. Now I am stuck with a car payment and a vehicle with multiple issues, with the main issue being a strong electrical burning smell. I’m only giving two stars for the solution Howard tried making with offering the two Uber rides. More
Came in for some scheduled re-call work and an oil-change. Original time estimate would be drop it off at 8:00 and would be done by 1:00 pm. They were finished before 11:30! Unfortunately, we had a mechanical problem with a late model used truck right after we bought it. Don Hewlett has bent over backwards to not only diagnose and correct the issue, but took care of us with model used truck right after we bought it. Don Hewlett has bent over backwards to not only diagnose and correct the issue, but took care of us with a loaner during the downtime. Sales manager and service manager took care of us personally. They have earned my respect and my loyalty. More

Purchased my 2016 vehicle from Don Hewlett and had all services performed at Don Hewlett and the quality of service has declined over the past few years, exponentially. I've contacted the customer servic services performed at Don Hewlett and the quality of service has declined over the past few years, exponentially. I've contacted the customer service department personally to no avail. I'm disappointed for the fact that I purchased a new vehicle and trusted that Don Hewlett would provide me services for my vehicle. Services provided to date are sub-par to say the best. More

Hewlett Chevy is my go-to dealer for all maintenance on my Truck. Never been disappointed. This visit was to replace O2 sensors which was completed faster than expected. This is a classic bait and switch dealership. Found a grey 2020 Chevy Trax stock number P174843 with 25K miles on their website for $11,861. Before driving an hour I had called to check on availability and the lady told me that it was available and she confirmed the listed price of $11,861. A few hours after calling we arrived to check it out and one of the salesman helped us to find it. We were shown the vehicle and everything was just as listed even the sign on the windshield had the price as $11,861. After the salesman found the keys we brought the vehicle up to the front of the dealership and went inside just to get some more information and to double check that the vehicle was still available for sale. It took the salesman a little while just to figure out if it was still available, which was a bit odd but he came back and stated it was available, so we took it for a test drive. Upon returning we went inside and told him we liked the vehicle and want to proceed to purchase it. He said to give him a few moments to get the numbers together. After a few minutes he came back with some “good” news and some “bad” news. The bad news was that the price that they have on the vehicle and website was incorrect and the actual price was $18,610. Wow a $7k increase. He said the “company” they use to print and post the vehicles made an error and said he was on our side in the whole matter. We asked to speak with the manager and he came over, not even apologizing or trying to do anything to make it right, just saying it was an error. We were like no that’s what is listed on the vehicle and website. We asked are you not gonna honor your listed price. He responded very arrogantly that the “fine” print on the bottom of their website says they are not responsible for errors and that they have a “very” good lawyer. What kind of management is this, no customer service skills at all, not even attempting to help solve the situation and just arrogantly escalating it saying they’re not responsible for errors and mentioning their “good” lawyer. We immediately got up and walked out. Just a waist of time and gas to drive an hour just for them to try to bait and switch the price of the vehicle. We have all the pictures to prove this and I would highly recommend staying away from this dealership. More
