Mr. Hewlett, I’ve seen your response to this review. This is my third vehicle from your dealership. Each and every one of them has been in the service department or the body shop multiple times; nearly all of which resulted in them coming back for issues with that work. My truck took several tries to get the head liner fixed. My yellow Camaro had many paint issues from the day I took delivery, among other issues. My current Camaro, I’ve got because of you standing up and doing what was right. I thank you for that still. I love this car very much. Yet, it too has been in the shop multiple times and many of those are repeat issues which in my opinion should have been dealt with properly the first time, not band aided and handed back while hiding behind the GM won't let us do this or that excuse. Things as simple as an oil change have been a fail since I had to literally yell at the mechanic doing the service because he insisted on debating/arguing with me about rotating the tires on MY car. It was written by the service writer on the top of the work order in big print DO NOT rotate the tires. Yet he had the wheels off and ready to rotate them. I had to stop him before he caused damage to my car since the rims are different sizes from front to back on a Camaro 1LE. That should never happen. How many second chances should I give my employee, which is what your service department is to me when I’m paying them to perform a service for me? If I worked for you and made this many mistakes in a row wouldn’t you have fired me by now? On my last visit to your service department I was told my car would be kept inside as much as possible. I know you don’t make money parking cars inside. I appreciated the gesture and understood it to be just that. Instead, the car was washed so I would think it was kept inside and they scratched the black paint so bad it looks like I run it through car washes all the time. I didn’t even let them wash the car when I bought it new from you. I’ve always made a point of reminding Mr. Conrad NOT to wash the car and it has never before been washed when it has been in for service. Maybe I am too old school and expect more than obviously can be delivered these days. I think your offer for assistance is halfhearted. GM Customer Service has been in contact with you and I’ve not heard from you at all until I post negative comments online. You’ve got my contact information. If you were truly concerned about retaining my business you could have used it.
