Raza Inthanongsack was great. He gave us all the information about the vehicle we wanted, explaining everything about the vehicle before we drove it off the lot. Everyone was helpful and friendly. T information about the vehicle we wanted, explaining everything about the vehicle before we drove it off the lot. Everyone was helpful and friendly. The car was washed, full of gasoline and ready after we finished signing all the papers. Javier Alvarado, Finance Manager, explained everything about the financing and found us a good rate on our loan. All in all, a very pleasant, non-pressure experience. We'll definately go back next year to buy a new truck next year. More
I had a great experience from the very start. I called in and got the information I needed before going to the dealership. When I arrived I was greeted promptly by James. He I told him what I was looking for and got the information I needed before going to the dealership. When I arrived I was greeted promptly by James. He I told him what I was looking for and he helped me with that and gave me several different options, that I didn't even know had! He went above and beyond my expectations. I also got to meet the sales managers, who were very friendly and very informative. I felt right at home at Don Davis. I loved everything about it. They even have a dinner for everyone who purchased that month and I can't wait to go!! Now I will always go to Don Davis, When I am looking for a vehicle. More

Then they put in the wrong weight oil from what the manufacturer recommended. Took 2 hours and 15 minutes to get out of the place. Spoke to Jason Barling (the General Manager) about the hassle, he made promises he did not follow up on and now doesnt return calls. RUN AWAY FROM THIS DEALERSHIP!! The service is horrible and you can get better service at other dealerships. More
Don't bother wasting your time here. Spent 30 minutes waiting for them to tell me the price of a new vehicle, despite the fact they had it in the advertisement. Price was different from the ad so I star waiting for them to tell me the price of a new vehicle, despite the fact they had it in the advertisement. Price was different from the ad so I started walking out when they started the whole "come meet the sales manager" business which I politely refused (I had my 3 kids and wife with me and they were already short on patience). Sales guy (MJ) said he would get in trouble if I didn't wait for his sales manager, as if I cared and then told me I was disrespecting him after he went to the effort of showing me "the numbers" - crazy stuff - I told him it was hard to sell something if you won't tell someone how much it costs - he got all up in arms about this which ended any chance that I was going to do business at this dealership. Reading other reviews here and and Yahoo autos I'm glad I got out when I did More
Typical used car dealer tricks. Stay away! I called to confirm that a vehicle was available and was told it was. I was instructed to ask for the manager Shawn Venker (or similar last name?). When I arri confirm that a vehicle was available and was told it was. I was instructed to ask for the manager Shawn Venker (or similar last name?). When I arrived 30 minutes later I was told the vehicle was sold the night before!!!! Of course the slimy dealer tried to pull the bait and switch with well "We don't have that one but we do have this one.....". If you just sit around and twiddle you thumbs and have time to kill, go to this dealer, they can help you with that. If however, you value you time, stay away, Don Davis Nissan does not value your time, just your money. More
We originally thought this dealership would be good to work with and our recent purchase went pretty well until it turned out they lied to us and did not follow through with the original terms. We turned work with and our recent purchase went pretty well until it turned out they lied to us and did not follow through with the original terms. We turned in a Nissan lease and opted for a new Nissan to purchase. They were suppose to pay off the remaining amount on the lease (buy it out) and we would take over new payments on the new vehicle. This went ok at first until we received a bill saying we owed another payment on the lease from the vehicle we turned in. Now our salesperson says there is nothing he can do and I cannot even get his boss (Wes Hayes) on the phone to discuss the matter. Sounds like these guys are only out to take you for what they can get and don't care about much else. I will NEVER buy from them again and will not recommend them to anyone I know!! They are the reason I HATE car purchases and that whole business! More
The Service Rep. at Don Davis, Marc Prestwood, LIED to me 3 times about when my truck would be ready. First When I dropped it off at 7:45AM, he said it would be ready mid-afternoon. OK. I had not heard fro 3 times about when my truck would be ready. First When I dropped it off at 7:45AM, he said it would be ready mid-afternoon. OK. I had not heard from him by 4pm so I called. He said it was not ready but should be by 5pm. I arrived back at the dealership at 5pm. It was still not ready, but he said it should be "soon". OK. I waited until 6:45pm and then it was finally ready! Please save yourself the headache and DO NOT deal with Don Davis of Arlington! More
Please, for your own sake, stay away from the service department at Don Davis Nissan in Arlington, Texas! My sales experience was great, however, I hate this place now because of the service department. department at Don Davis Nissan in Arlington, Texas! My sales experience was great, however, I hate this place now because of the service department. I will never return to Don Davis Nissan for anything ever again!

I bought my car from here three years ago. Ever since, I have had nothing but problems with the service department. Most times I can not get a straight answer from service advisors or even get work done correctly which means I have to keep coming back to get the same things fixed over and over again! Plus, it seems like I lose pieces of my car there too. For example, they rotated my tires and by the time I got the car home, two lug nuts from the same wheel were missing!

There is never any consistency in Service Advisors here either. It appears like there is a revolving door at this place and they can not retain any advisor for any length of time. The same goes for Service Managers. I’ve seen three different ones in the past three years. If Don Davis Nissan can’t make their own employees happy, why would they try to make a customer happy!

I even had a fuel pump go bad on my car at 36,342 miles. The bumper-bumper is up at 36,000 miles and the dealer wanted me to pay several hundred dollars to fix. I convinced them that the part had been going bad prior to the end of the bumper – bumper warranty expiration and they did a “Goodwill” adjustment to pay for the service. Here’s the kicker though… The fuel pump is covered under the powertrain warranty which is 60,000 miles and should have been covered all along. Why did I have to argue the point? Can you understand why I don’t believe anything that they tell me?

My most recent adventure was to replace a clutch that has gone out after 24,000 miles. I had the clutch replaced once already because of a defective clutch disc and now my clutch has gone bad again. The service department does not want to accept any blame for this even though I firmly believe they didn’t do the original replacement properly. They have ever accused me of abusing the car and therefore will not honor a warranty on the flywheel which is burnt too. I understand their skepticism, but I NEVER abuse my car. In fact, I baby it because I want the thing to last forever so I don't have to buy a new one anytime soon. I take offense at their accusations and feel that they are ripping me off with a $1500 price tag for something that is not my fault.

Please do not take this review as one person being mad over one incident that is costing a lot of money. My anger stems from years of unacceptable service. I would gladly offer a good recommendation if I had one. I’ve spent may dollars at Vandergriff Chevrolet and absolutely LOVE them! So as you can see, my anger does not stem from having to spend money to fix a car.
More
