Women of Northern VA:Stay away from DB Volvo in Falls Church I normally do not go to the Falls Church location for FSM but because of my schedule I did so in order to save time. I have not complaints about the technician who serviced my 2017 S90, in fact he did a magnificent job. However, it was the General Manger, Peter Faris who ruined my opinion for this location. I came from a business meeting to pick up my car and was dressed in a suit dress that was business appropriate. When Mr. Faris walked by me I heard him say to another associate, "Look at the rack and pinions on her." I casually looked around, noticing that I was the only woman who both men were staring at in hallway as my service advisor, Mr. Hurdle was walking away. Then I heard Mr. Faris say, "I could tap that all night.", while his associate said, "And she'd make you breakfast in the morning." After that they laughed and walked away. I was so mortified and disgusted. I am a mother who is 5'8" with an athletic body but I did NOT ask for these men to make these lewd, unwanted sexual comments. They may have thought no one heard them but voices carry in hallways. Sexual misconduct and harassment of all forms must be stopped. For behavior like this from Mr. Faris, I bet this isn't the first time he's been accused on misconduct. It's guaranteed I will NEVER go back to DB Volvo in Falls Church again! More
Really disappointing experience I recently had Don Beyer Volvo intervene in a repair I took to a trusted local service station. In order for the repair to be completed, the certifie I recently had Don Beyer Volvo intervene in a repair I took to a trusted local service station. In order for the repair to be completed, the certified Volvo part had to be coupled with a software update that could only be completed at DB Volvo. So I paid for the part, for my car to be transported to DB Volvo and a sum total of $230 for a 10-minute software update to be installed. When the part failed just 4 weeks later, I was forced to take the car to another Volvo dealer in Roanoke (who were just as bad), and I paid another $331 to have the same issue fixed. Neither Volvo dealer wanted to take responsibility for the software expense on the failed part. Instead they pointed the finger at the trusted local service repairman who was accused of installing the part wrong. I have an elementary understanding of repairs (enough to understand)...and this part replacement takes 15 minutes and it's simple...it's the software configuration that complicates the process, although it takes little time. All told, both dealers gouged me the best they could and then chastised me for not taking the car to the dealer in the first place. Yeah, right! Please avoid the dealers at all costs, no pun intended. By the way, I have purchased 4-5 cars at DB Volvo and have taken my cars their on many occasions to be repaired until I discovered I was being taken advantage of. No more. More

Sherwin at Don Beyer Volvo did a great job of making sure that the new engine was working properly as well as investigating and fixing any other damage that had been done to the vehicle as a result of the induction. He also fought hard for me with the company's insurance company to get them to pay for the repair (which was over $14,000) and kept me updated on the progress of the repair and the insurance payment. My car is working fine again and I am a loyal Don Beyer customer for life. Sherwin went above and beyond what I would have expected from a car dealer and I would recommend the quality of Don Beyer service to anyone. More

Terrible. The worst sales experience we have ever had. We were contacted by a salesman after their sister store did not have the car we wanted in stock. We set up an appointment to test drive a vehicle and We were contacted by a salesman after their sister store did not have the car we wanted in stock. We set up an appointment to test drive a vehicle and were clear that we were interested in a specific model, new. We were told they had "several" in stock. When we showed up, the salesperson was busy with another customer, but then for the next 30 minutes nobody spoke to us. No one - even though there were no other customers on the sales floor (this was in the middle of the afternoon on a weekday). We had to wait until he was free until we were given a test drive, and were then given a used car that was previously a rental. Once we were done with the test drive, the salesman gave us a hard sale on the used car and gave us no options on buying or leasing a new model. This was our first and only experience with a Volvo dealership and easily the worst we've had at a car dealership, regardless of brand. More
