I worked with Khalid and Mike (manager of dealership) in putting a 1K deposit down for a 2022 Volvo XC90 T8. I was told that I would have first choice at buying the car, and as you can guess, they sold it t putting a 1K deposit down for a 2022 Volvo XC90 T8. I was told that I would have first choice at buying the car, and as you can guess, they sold it to someone else. I cannot stress enough the unprofessional manner in which this "team" conducts itself, while not having any means to hold themselves accountable. I would 100% not recommend working with this dealership. More
On 3/23/22 my husband put a $2,000 deposit down with Beyer Volvo Cars Falls Church on a 2021 Ford Mustang GT VIN#1FA6P8CFXM5112940. Due to our work schedules, we were not able to come down to pick up th Beyer Volvo Cars Falls Church on a 2021 Ford Mustang GT VIN#1FA6P8CFXM5112940. Due to our work schedules, we were not able to come down to pick up the car until 3/30/22, but our salesperson George M. said with the $2,000 deposit the car would be held until we got there. After back and forth with both George M. and Mike M. (Sales MGR) to get paperwork, add car to insurance, and also to send our licenses etc. down we were all set to purchase plane tickets. Plane tickets were purchased on 3/24/22 through United. Flight details were sent to George M. so that he could arrange Uber and to have the car ready. He confirmed all of this by email on 3/25/22. We also confirmed that we are good to go, have the car, and could sell my husband’s car. So we sold his car on 3/25/22 and now we were all set and ready to go. Copy of the payment being secured and the insurance was sent to the dealership as well during this time. On 3/28/22 my husband had 3 missed calls from Beyer Volvo and woke up to the 4th call which he was able to answer in time. The salesperson George M. and General Sales Manager Max A. called to inform us that the car we are flying down to get was stolen along with three Volvos. My husband was in complete shock and Max offered deposit back and airfare. My husband stated he would call once I got home. At 4pm we called Max back and we felt bad they had 4 cars stolen, and apologized to Max and inquired about refund. We asked how the cars were stolen and Max said when they arrived in they found broken glass and they are close to the port and that’s probably where the cars end up. We said with technology this is very odd and he said “I lost 3 other cars as well”. Max said he would call us back on 3/29/22 to confirm he refunded us. We did not hear from Max on 3/29/22 so I sent Max an email on March 29th at 5:36pm inquiring about the deposit, airfare, and wrote in the email refund for the stolen car. Max has short responses back which was a red flag as well as the entire situation. We contacted our insurance company as well to inform them that the car was stolen and what do we do. We were nervous that we would have an insurance claim and stressed out for 4 day’s waiting to hear back. After a few days went by everything just seemed completely off as this car had upgraded anti-theft features and how could 4 expensive cars go missing from a dealership that’s in a main area near traffic lights and a lot of traffic. Why wasn’t this on the media, but theft of catalytic converters were? We decided to check databases and police logs for the report of the car theft. The car was never reported stolen, the VIN is clear, and the Falls Church Police log makes no mention of 4 stolen cars. I decided on 4/7/22 after confirming the car still has no theft reports to contact the dealership again and this time speak to the General Manager Pete K. Pete was unaware of 4 cars being stolen and was in shock, he stated. I explained everything that happened and he asked me to forward the plane ticket information and he also stated this is not Max’s character or to do something like this. I forwarded emails and the information requested via email to Pete on 4/7/22. As frustrated as I am with this dealership, I can speak highly about Pete, not only was he honest and listened, 3/28/22. He also is the only one to apologize to me for all that happened to us. We sold my husband's car, put full coverage insurance on the new car, had a $48,000 bank check in hand written to the dealership, gave a $2,000 deposit, purchased $700 plane tickets, took time off from work and contacted our insurance to report a stolen car which wasn’t actually stolen. I hope Max is held accountable for his actions, what he did to my family and lying about filing a police report for 4 stolen cars. He was dishonest, deceiving and mislead us which is fraud. Why did this happen to us when we paid full price on the vehicle and everything was lined up and the dealership was on board with our arrival time? The dealership had our $2,000 deposit on the car and reassured us they can't sell it with that deposit on it. So clearly George found is acceptable to lie to us along with Max. We apologized to Max on March 28th and explained how bad we felt for the dealership to have to deal with this, but in realty we were the ones who were owed an apology from Max and George that to this day we still haven’t received. Max and George sold a car out from under us and led us to believe for the last few weeks that the car was stolen along with 3 others. What Max and George did to us is unacceptable and the fact that Max being in his position had no problem lying to us several times tells me this isn't his first time. Beyer Auto is a family run business that I thought was reputable and cared about their customers, but after this I have no trust in certain employees that they employ and their tactics. More

2019 Volvo S90 T5 AWD with 5,xxx miles on the OD - Came in for a Polestar Engineered Performance Upgrade & Scheduled Factory Maintenance. Pros: Craig took care of everything that needed to be done an in for a Polestar Engineered Performance Upgrade & Scheduled Factory Maintenance. Pros: Craig took care of everything that needed to be done and I was promptly billed. Q&A dialog between the service advisor and vehicle owner was satisfactory. New show room boasting a total of 3 vehicles, with an extremely limited boutique shelf stocked with crayons and coloring things for kids. Although the parts building next door didn't have a lot going on either, it was a entertaining talking with Bill about water-wells, hand-pumps and his 15 year old cat. Clean restrooms. Follow up via email reminding you of your appointment was appreciated and so was the seamless ability to self-check in and track your service progress via your smart device. Cons: small cramped showroom, especially with sales, administration and management cubicles in very close proximity to the customer lounging area. With staff hovering and keeping an eye on you, it did seem a bit disconcerting. The car wash at the time of exit delivery turned out to be more of a rinse with no wipe down as water marks were visible all over the exterior as were finger prints left on the interior center console.....with a blonde interior everything becomes visible. Thanks to the kind gentleman from preowned cars who walked me to the service bay. The GPS had me arrive at their previous building now empty. Thank you Beyer Volvo Cars, Falls Church VA for servicing my car. More
Good experience, no issues. We live in rural Maryland, which makes buying a luxury car an all day event with as much fact-finding and negotiating as possible, before we even visit the dealership. Koffi wa which makes buying a luxury car an all day event with as much fact-finding and negotiating as possible, before we even visit the dealership. Koffi was very responsive, and we decided to drive a 2020 S60 loaner. Unfortunately, despite all our coordination, the car was not available when we were. No worries though; Koffi was frank and honest throughout our dealings. He even offered to drive the car to us. In the end, we chose a different car, but at no fault of Koffi's or the dealership. More

Alexander was literally the best car salesman that I have ever worked with (I have owned 7 cars, and have experienced many, many more dealerships than I care to remember). He actually took time to explain t ever worked with (I have owned 7 cars, and have experienced many, many more dealerships than I care to remember). He actually took time to explain the features of the car and did not try to push us into something that we didn't want/need. He was super friendly and genuinely interested in making sure that my wife and I left the dealership happy. We absolutely made the right choice in picking Volvo. Note that, although my wife had owned a mid-80s Volvo "tank," neither of us had ever owned or experienced a modern Volvo product. After our S60 lease ends, we will 100% make Beyer Volvo our first stop in selecting a new car (hopefully something fully electric!). More

Worst experience ever. Will definitely not recommend anyone. Sales person and managers ignore phone calls. Had to drop $2500 on a new fuel tank, and other maintenance issues on a car I purchased. Be Careful, they will run your repair costs up Today we took our car into Don Beyer Volvo for a maintenance check. We believed that we were doing an oil change for $99. The service manager - Today we took our car into Don Beyer Volvo for a maintenance check. We believed that we were doing an oil change for $99. The service manager - who is not your friend, they are trained sales people. Their job is take money from you and hand it to the dealership. The first thing that they did was tell us we needed new wipers for the windshield. We passed on that option. By the way, the car is 4 years old and has less than 15,000 miles on it. They told us they would be doing a maintenance check. We did not know what that meant. We assumed we were there for an oil change, not a $450 bill on the day. Surprise, surprise, we got a nearly $600 bill. We were never, never, ever told about this amount Wow! Don Beyer Volvo this takes the cake!!!! Oh by the way, the final report says windshield wipers were in good shape despite that was the service advisors first recommendation. More
