$130 for them to let it idle for two days!! Took my 2002 GOLF GTI to Dirito Bros. because the car's electrical was just cutting out. No lights, no codes. I knew it wasn't the alternator or batte Took my 2002 GOLF GTI to Dirito Bros. because the car's electrical was just cutting out. No lights, no codes. I knew it wasn't the alternator or battery because it starts right back up after it dies. Service people asked 3 or 4 times "no lights" or errors messages? I said NO 3 or 4 different times! Comms - they ask you if you want to except text msgs but then don't respond to the messages when you ask for a status...why offer text msgs if no one is going to respond to them? You're not ready to offer that form of communication yet. After 2pm I CALL to get a status. They tell me they checked the battery and alternator and all was good (I KNEW THAT!) and there were no codes...knew that also! They tell me they have been letting it idle and test drove it three times and no errors. I ask the if they didn't any investigative work other then bat/alt and code check? They said no. Basically they were letting it idle until it throws a code and THEN they will see what it is. Your VW, you don't have a database of I don't know, maybe THOUSANDS of service records where other GTI owners may have brought their car in for service with the same problem? You can't call VW master techs and inquire about the problem and see if others can help? No, your plan is to wait for it to "throw a code" before you do anything further. Guess what happened today when my son was driving home...car died again! Less then 24 hours after picking it up from Dirito Bros. the same problem was experienced. So I now have my son driving a vehicle that can die out at any time...sound safe? Would have expected better service from a dealership with certified VW mechanics. Maybe my expectations are too high. :( More
Best servicing and sales by far!!! I have been going to Dirito Bros. For a couple years now and i recommend them hands down for not only servicing but sales as well. Servicing is a bit pricey (as any dealership would be) but there is no pressure from them to do any add ons if you don’t want them and the peice you pay...you really get what you pay for in quality. If they can work with you...they will work with you. Sales is very sinilar...no pressure at all. They will answer any questions, test drive whatever you want to test drive and give you the best price they are willing to offer...but they don’t shove it down your throat and they won’t waste your time for hours giving fake, “deals”. These guys are amazing across the board and even though I moved over an hohr away I will continue to go to them for any and all servicing and sales needs. More

Cost more than expected for a burned out clutch with no answer on how it could have failed early, and why after the repair still smells like it is burning the clutch. Work took longer than expected and if i didn't check in I wasn't informed of how the repair is coming along. More
